The room was much larger than I expected with a separate living and dining area, kitchen and separate bedroom and bathroom. There was a washer/dryer in the bathroom which was mentioned when I booked the room which made traveling with fewer clothes an option for a long trip. The location is close to several metro and bus lines which made traveling to the Castle Hill and City Park areas easy. Ruin bars being nearby was also a plus.

Our stay was marked by having to change rooms 3 times upon arrival, as each and every room was covered in hair. This extended to the bedsheets and blankets with curly short hair everywhere. The neighbourhood is also sketchy, one side is the high-end New York cafe, unfortunately this side is rough. Another let down was that the pool shown in images is 30 euro per person per visit, which is highway robbery. When we finally got an appropriately clean room the in room laundry was appreciated and the space was comfortable. The shower leaks profusely on the floor whenever used, but extra towels were the solution. The breakfast buffet was good, and the staff were good. A special thank you to Jozef (sp) on the front desk, who put in as much effort as possible to turn around a bad first impression and correct our room issue.

The property is a little old and needs refurbishing. The area around is ok - not much around except the hyped New York Cafe. We didn’t have breakfast but it looked very basic but probably worth the €15. Staff seemed decent - some were nice while others were ok and not very forthcoming. Housekeeping was good. The rooms need refurbishing as they are old and it shows.

We had the most amazing stay at NH collection. Was situated on a metro line, making getting around the city super easy. The staff were lovely and very accommodating. The free fruit/sweets went down very well with our 5 year old as did his very own room key!!! The studio apartment was perfect size for our family of three. Breakfastwas free for kids and had ample choice. Could access NEw york cafe and get priority seating from the hotel which was great. Gym was 24 hours and great. Slightly disappointed that the pool was not at this hotel and had to be paid for. I dont think expedia made that very clear. But we opted for a trip to the outdoor baths on st margarets island instead whixh was amazing!!

The apartment was very clean and had all the amenities offered. Staff was professional and prompt to help. I had to ask for a doctor to come see my daughter that was not feeling well and this was quickly arranged by the staff. Breakfast was a nice buffet, charged to the room. This place is very well located, not so close to the city center but you can still walk there. I would definitely come back to this hotel on future visits to Budapest.

Our first apartment was very noisy from the road the first night, we spoke to reception the next morning and they immediately gave us another room. This was very quiet, well equipped, spacious and comfortable. I can highly recommend the hotel but if you need quiet it may be best to ask for a garden view room or a room on a higher floor. The breakfast was also excellent.
