this is a very clean and comfortable place to stay. updated bathroom and kitchen. had no issues w wifi as other reciews had reported. i would stay again!! staff is very attentive.

Excellent location with tram stop outside, buses and metro 5 mins away. owner of the apartment was kind and picked us up and took us to the airport for 24euros. The bed was comfy and the apartment had everything we needed. We were asked to clean it before we left which was strange request!! I left it cleaner than we found it and dusted the furniture and cleaned the glasses. The apartment is an older style with high ceilings. It was dark in the main living area as the main window looked out on to the side street. Overall a good stay

Location is fabulous. Amenities are few yards from the Appartment. Walking distance to most landmrks. All in all an unforgetable and really enjoyable ten days holiday during Christmas and new year. Could not adk for more.

Great apartment with outstanding service
Loved the apartment but what made everything even more special was the personal service and attention from Andreas. He stayed in contact with me throughout my trip and on the first night when I told him that the bathroom was cold, he went out and purchased a space heater that made my stay even more comfortable. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

We stayed at 47 Jozsef Korut apartment with its typically old Hungarian decor, provided an ideal base for a short city brake i.e. handy for public transport, secure, clean, nice shower and self-catering. It was ideally positioned for public transport and daily shopping needs with a supermarket, pizza takeaway, restaurants and bars close buy. Andras, our contact was a gem, offering lots of useful advice and responded promptly to all of our enquiries. He also collected us from the airport even with our late arrival. To offer some constructive advice I would say that the apartment lighting needs upgrading with there being little natural light. Bedside tables were lacking and a huge old sideboard cluttered the space unnecessarily. To sum up, The apartment certainly offered value for money at £38.00 per night, and we would definitely recommend this accommodation to anyone on a short stay visit on a tight budget.

Spacious flat close to everything.
The apartment we were given was close to transport, reasonable priced restaurants and supermarkets. It was easy to get to the sights of Budapest and beyond either walking, metro, tram, bus and trains. The manager is helpful and easy to get along with.

Perfect location to explore Budapest.
Visitor from Cambridge. U.K. This was the perfect base for our week in Budapest. Andras the owner gave us lots of useful information even though we had been to Budapest many times before he was able to give more local knowledge. The apartment was very clean and had all the fitments that we needed. The bed was very comfortable, a real treat when away from home. The location was fantastic with public transport on the doorstep, the numbers 4 and 6 trams stopping right outside and 2 metro stations within 7 minutes walk each way. The Danube river also only 2 stops on the tram away. I would definitely recommend you download the BKK Futar app as this gives you all public transport in real time. Also there are 3 supermarkets nearby. 2 right outside and one across the road. Even though this is on the main boulevard because the apartment is in a courtyard there is very little noise. We will definitely return.

Self-catering room off courtyard in great old bldg
The host, Andras, met us at the front of the building. He provided all the information we could possibly want about restaurants, shopping, and things to do and see in the area and Budapest in general. The apartment was up wrought iron-railed stairs in a late 19th century building with an enclosed courtyard that the rooms looked out on. We were at the back of the building, and the rooms were spacious-14 foot ceilings- and quiet. The general ambience was of somewhat faded elegance.

Outstanding apartment, hospitality and value.
Andras will contact you with details of how to find the apartment when you book and is a wealth of information throughout your stay as well as being an excellent, friendly host. The apartment is within walking distance of all the tourist attractions but the tram is directly outside if you want to use it. There are shops, a bar and resteraunts very close. The apartment itself is very comfortable and well equipped, allowing you to self cater if you wish, and has very fast Wifi. This must be the best value accommodation in Budapest.

Great stay in Budapest
We were very happy with the apartment for the price we paid. Like other reviewers have commented, the apartment is a little dated but had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Heating worked, hot water worked, fridge and kitchen amenities were all good. The apartment block was fairly quiet at night as the apartment we had was in the interior and we didn't have any noise issues. Andras was a great host and picked us up and dropped us off at the airport as arranged as well as providing us with tips and information on the local area. There are two supermarkets just near the apartment and a few good restaurants. The tram stop is right outside and it was easy to get to the main attractions either by tram or by walking, even with kids (12,16). Would recommend for a few nights stay in a great city!

Great Location
Great location convenient near tram, metro, and bus. Several restaurants are within walking distance with some right outside your door. There was a washer to do our laundry (and a rack to dry them outside). Full kitchen to cook and store food. We had a late check-in and Andras was able to accommodate us. He also provided helpful information about Budapest before and during our stay. The place was tidy. The WIFI connection was great.

Andras was a brilliant host, vast knowledge of Budapest, was like a walking talking encyclopaedia. Our apartment is in a brilliant location, in a student area so cheap restaurants with good food. 5/10 min walk to central locations. Only negative is the apartment could be doing with modernisation, but apart from that, it’s a clean spacious and cheap place to stay. Excellent value corn money, would stay again and would definitely recommend! 8.5/10

Cozy flat in a great location
We stayed in a one-bedroom ground floor flat, located near the metro and major tram lines. The flat kept us cozy on a couple of cold Budapest days, and is on the courtyard, so quiet enough that our toddler slept wonderfully. There are lots of restaurant options and two grocery stores for self-catering. The owner is conscientious, responds to communications promptly, and is clearly proud of the work he's put into the flats. He also gave us a choice of flats, which was welcome.

Well-placed and -priced flat with friendly manager
Owner-manager Andras was a perfect host, picking me up at the airport, showing me the apartment and dealing swiftly with the couple of issues (blocked shower and missing light bulbs) I raised the morning after my arrival. The apartment is very well-placed in the city, close to buses, trams and the metro. A cheap friendly café-pub is next door, and a supermarket only yards away. When I next travel to Budapest I shall definitely stay here again.

Having been collected at the airport by our host András we were extremely happy with the accommodation, we can not say enough good things about the whole experience, you will not be disappointed. The apartment was very clean, and the security was brilliant, the surrounding area was quiet and you are well within walking distance of the town centre, there is also a tram stop almost outside your door if walking a not for you

Great apartment in a nice location
Our stay was excellent and we would certainly stay here again on future trips. The owner of the apartment was extremely friendly and available to answer all of our questions. He offered to bring us to the hotel from the airport for a very reasonable fee, and upon our arrival helped orient us in the neighborhood and gave us a long list of recommendations for things to do and places to visit. The apartment was clean and very conveniently located in a good part of town. The upper loft bed is a very exciting bonus for families staying with children.

We loved it!
We loved staying here. Andras was super nice and friendly, gave great advice on where to go and what to do, and the apartment itself was perfect for the price. Great location too, within walking distance of most things, and only a short tram ride from everything else. The flat was clean, with decent cooking facilities (we cooked our breakfast everyday, and dinner a few times). We also got a washing machine, TV with tonnes of channels and a nice shower/bathroom. The living room had a cute little mezzanine too, which the bed was on. Overall a very nice to stay and we couldn't fault it. Andras' advice was invaluable too, and he went well out of his way to make sure we were happy. There were a few choice wines (decently priced too) available to purchase in the apartment, which was awesome.

Great apartment and great owner
Andras picked us up at the airport once we arrived. He is very welcoming and knowledgeable. On the way to the apartment he filled us in on places to go, see and what's going on during our stay in the city. He gave us some great advice on getting to the F1 during our stay. The apartment was clean, tidy and very good value for money. It is situated in a great area, just on the edge of the centre but fair enough away to enjoy very good food and drink at budget prices. There's a tram station just across the road and Metro just a hundred yards away or a 10 minute walk gets you the the more expensive tourist areas. Andras was always contactable if we needed any help or a chat. Budapest is a lovely, save city and can't wait to come back, will be staying at one of Andras apartments again. Thank you Andras, it's not often you mean such a nice and accomodating human being.

Great apartment, central location, very reasonable
We were picked up from the airport which was great and given lots of useful advice from the owner about where to go in Budapest and where to avoid etc. The apartment was a great size, plenty of room and nicely presented. The location was excellent, very central with lots of shops and restaurants nearby. I would definetley stay again.

Chillin' in Budapest
The manager of the apartment met me at the airport for the same rate it would have cost to get a taxi and he gave me lots of information about where to go and what to do, he was very knowledgeable. The apartment was clean and well presented and the location was good. It was easy to walk into the city centre and the tram and tube were only a couple of minutes walk from the apartment if one did not feel like walking. Some really good restaurants and bars. STEX was local and very good value for money. Caught a concert with live Orchestra in the Water Tower in Margaret Island, unexpected and very good. Beautiful weather (if you like heat), and lots to do and see. Travelling as a single woman I felt safe walking at night and it was refreshing when approached to be politely asked if I was single and not harrangued as the response was no. All in all a very good time.
