Barn Cottage, stunning Sea views in a cosy cottage in Bude, pet friendly

Thank you for taking time to view our lovely cottage situated in the stunning countryside in North Cornwall overlooking the sea and miles upon miles of countryside.

Barn Cottage was converted from 19th century farm building in the 1980's and designed to show the barns features including exposed beams and the original natural stone walls it has undergone total renovation in 2019 and a new kitchen 2020 the bathroom has now been recently renovated

Ivyleaf Hill is approximately 1 mile north of Bude located just off the A39 Atlantic Highway up a no trough road. It is an elevated position with stunning views over both the coast towards Bude Bay and in the distance to Trevose Head and also the North Cornish countryside towards Bodmin. The National Trust beach at Sandymouth is approx 3-4 miles away; Bude itself is only five mins in the car with 2 beaches and with Morrisons & Sainsbury supermarkets and a brilliant selection of independent food,gift and water sport shops providing wide range of food and other items and just a few miles from some of the beautiful beaches North Cornwall has to offer they are ideally situated for a relaxing seaside break, surfing holiday and coastal walks. Barn cottage is great for providing a great base for exploring into North Devon including Clovelly and Hartland Abbey or further into Cornwall visiting historic St Ives, Tintagel, Padstow, Port Isaac or Boscastle

A shared courtyard welcomes you to Ivy leaf Barton. The cottage has a comfortable downstairs seating and dining area for 5 and the living area leads through to enclosed garden to the rear. Patio furniture makes it a beautiful situation in which to relax and enjoy the long summer evenings

Well maintain shared grounds also give access to free tennis court


Bude is a lovely and thriving seaside town with heaps to do all year round and if the weather isn’t on your side there is a indoor pool with wave machine not far from the house. Bude has all the charm of any small seaside town without all the hustle and bustle of the bigger towns but still ticks every box

Not far from the house are Clovelly and Hartland Abbey or expand your visit further into Cornwall visiting historic St Ives, Port Isaac, Tintagel,Padstow or The Eden Project lies to south.

The kitchen is fully fitted with a range of units. There is an electric oven and hob, a microwave, dishwasher, toaster, kettle, fridge / freezer. The lounge area has a flatscreen, digital, Freeview TV. There is an iron & ironing board. Unlimited WiFi is also available at the property.

Miscellaneous
Electricity, heating, bed linen and towels are all included but you will need to bring your own beach towels. Up to two well behaved dogs are welcome at an additional £30 per week. No smoking is allowed inside the property. There is one dedicated parking space. There is a high chair available. There is a charcoal barbecue on the patio area. You will have access to the shared tennis court.
