The cottage Duinwind is a spacious house for 8 people. It has 4 bedrooms (2 bedrooms with double bed, 2 bedrooms with 2 single beds each), 2 bathrooms (with shower, bath and toilet), and 3 toilets. (One bedroom with double bed and bathroom is on the ground floor). Upstairs is a wide living area. The kitchen is equipped with freezer, oven, stove, microwave, dishwasher, div. Kitchen appliances, dishes etc. well equipped. Washing machine, dryer, garden furniture (also beach chairs) and hammock are available.

In the living room is a cozy gas fireplace.

Fantastische woning met prachtig uitzicht, nagenoeg aan het strand
Onlangs een heerlijk weekend in huize Duinwind gehad. Wat een enorme ruimte die lekker licht en knus aanvoelt. In de ochtend bekijken je de zonsopgang vanuit een comfortabele stoel en in de avond kruip je knus achter de open gas haard. Binnen 10 minuten lopen sta je naast restaurant 't Strandhuys met je voeten in het Amelandse zand, klaar om een heerlijke wandeling over de brede mooie stranden of je geniet van een heerlijke warme chocomelk met slagroom, uitkijkend over een uitgestrekte noordzee. Echt een aanrader!

The house is in perfect condition, and the interior is nice and cozy. The yard is beautiful, in the middle of the dunes. Bike rental is nearby. The perfect location to stay.

Alles war ganz prima, nur die Kommunikation mit der Verwalterin bei Ɯbernahme und Abnahme des Objektes war nicht so angenehm/ unfreundlich.Sie war nicht Ć¼ber die Zahlung der BettwƤsche im Gesamtpreis informiert. Solche Dinge sollten aber klar zwischen Vermieter und Verwalter geregelt sein!

Sehr groƟes Haus mit toller Lage.
Das Haus ist sehr groƟ und liegt direkt auf dem Weg zum Strand. Es liegt sehr ruhig und hat einen tollen eingezƤunten Garten. Die RƤume sind sehr groƟ und fĆ¼r 6-8 Personen bietet es viel Platz. Auch die Aufteilung der RƤume mit einem Schlafzimmer mit Bad on Suite und und noch zwei zusƤtzlichen Toiletten ist perfekt. Leider sind die Mƶbel sehr alt und wirken schmuddelig. Auch die Betten sind schon Ƥlter haben aber sehr bequeme Matratzen. Die KĆ¼che mĆ¼sste dringend renoviert werden. Rund um war es aber trotzdem ein sehr schƶner Aufenthalt.

Wir hatten eine ganz wundervolle Zeit auf Ameland. Wir fahren schon viele Jahre auf die Insel, aber so schƶn war es noch nie. Dank unserer besonders netten Vermieterin und ihrem phantastischen Haus. Das Haus liegt, wie beschrieben, extrem gĆ¼nstig zum Strand, in der DĆ¼nenlandschaft. Und trotz Zufahrtstrasse ist es sehr ruhig. Haben den Urlaub genossen. Nicht in jeder Kategorie 5 *, weil: WƤre ich Besitzer eines solch tollen Hauses, wĆ¼rde ich es besser pflegen. Nicht falsch verstehen, es ist nicht schmutzig oder so, sondern nur etwas lieblos behandelt. Dennoch SEHR empfehlenswert.

Wir waren mit 4 Erwachsenen und 4 Kindern von 1 bis 11 Jahre in diesem Haus. Wir haben die Freiheiten, die dieses groƟzĆ¼gige Haus in den DĆ¼nen bietet, sehr genossen. Man fĆ¼hlt sich sofort wohl. Nette Verwalterin und Vermieterin und offensichtlich auch fƤhige Reinigungsfee..... Wir mƶchten auf jeden Fall wieder kommen und empfehlen diese Unterkunft auf jeden Fall weiter. Danke fĆ¼r den schƶnen Urlaub!

Ungemach!
Ƅrgerlich war die kaputte Lampe Ć¼ber dem Esstisch und ja, auch andere Lampen waren kaputt . Wobei es bereits der Hausbetreuerin bekannt war!!! Noch unschƶner war der Ameisenangriff in der KĆ¼che, dem wir mit der Zeit etwas eindƤmmen konnten. Die Lage des Hauses hat das Ungemach aber wieder wett gemacht. Wir wuerden wieder kommen .

We hebben met de familie een weekend in dit huis verbleven. We hebben het verblijf als erg prettig ervaren! De locatie was super en het huis lekker ruim. Minpuntje was dat we erg laat (na eigen navraag) pas alle info over het huis kregen, met o.a. de mededeling dat linnen nog ā‚¬15 extra pp is en aangevraagd moest worden. Voor dit bedrag waren de bedden nog niet opgemaakt. Ook kreeg ik geen reactie meer van de eigenaar op mijn berichten (met een vraag over oa het koffiezetapparaat). We hebben een heerlijk weekend gehad op Ameland!

Fijn groot huis in een mooie omgeving
Een mooi huis, uitstekend geschikt als uitvalbasis voor mooie wandelingen en fietstochten, waarna het weer fijn ā€œthuiskomenā€ is. Een uitstekende keuken voor het bereiden van maaltijden en een fijne tuin, waar ook de kleinkinderen zich hebben vermaakt.

Wat een huis! Mooi groot en ruim huis, van alle gemakken voorzien. Alles is schoon en netjes. Ook buiten is het groot en ruim, met veel zitgelegenheid. Ook aan de kinderen is gedacht: er is veel speelgoed voor alle leeftijden aanwezig.
