Just Book Backyard Wanderland...You won't regret it!!
We had an amazing stay at Backyard Wanderland! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The home was spotless, beautifully decorated, and fully stocked with everything we needed to feel right at home. It was spacious enough to comfortably fit our family of seven.The large 10-person round dining table was the perfect gathering spot for family meals. Our kids absolutely LOVED the outdoor space! The two playsets, loft-style playhouse with electricity, basketball court, firepit (stocked with wood), and walking path kept our kids (ages 9 to 1) entertained for hours.Although the house is near a main road, its thoughtful positioning and landscaping created a private and peaceful environment. With five kids, the road noise wasnā€™t a concern and was only noticeable when emergency vehicles passed with sirens.The location was idealā€”just a short drive to the Creation Museum and close to the Ark Encounter.Josh and Terra were fantastic hostsā€”responsive, thoughtful, and welcoming. We appreciated their extra touches, like coordinating a DoorDash delivery for supplies and salting the driveway and walkways before snowfall.We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend Backyard Wanderland to anyone looking for a family-friendly, relaxing getaway. Thank you, Josh and Terra, for helping make our trip unforgettable!

Great Stay!
We loved our stay at this location! The playground was awesome for our kids, unfortunately the weather was too cold for them to really enjoy it. You have to watch for the driveway, it was easy to miss just because of the busy street out front, but once we found it, it was great. House was awesome. Perfect for our family. Recommend this location for your family getaway!

Great central location
This home was beautiful with plenty of room for our large family. The kitchen had everything we needed. Beautiful back yard with playset for the kids. Mild downside was closeness to street and could hear cars driving past but the family did provide earplugs in each room. We would definitely stay here again :)

Wow! Tara and Joshā€˜s property was fabulous! Everything was totally clean, well stocked, and the accommodations were bright, cheerful, and very spacious. We had plenty of room to stretch out and have family time with all nine of us. On our last day, we had eight cousins come over for a short visit, and they all thoroughly enjoyed the HUGE backyard, especially the basketball court! Josh and Tara were fabulous hosts and were immediately available and SO accommodating with any needs that we had. We would DEFINITELY stay in this home again! It was fabulous!

Perfect location and set up
We traveled to the area to visit the Ark/Creation museum, perfect location, close to the airport and to Cincy. Hosts were easy to communicate with, property was spacious, comfortable, clean and had every amenity needed. Highly recommend and will be back when in the area next.

Comfortable with everything we needed
Traveling with young children isnā€™t always easy, but the Backyard Wanderland had everything we needed and more to make it a comfortable and enjoyable stay! The backyard was incredible, the house and property and everything inside are managed beautifully, and my kids didnā€™t want to leave at the end of the trip. We plan to come back to visit the Ark and Creation Museum again, and would stay and this beautiful home again as well. Thank you for a great visit to Kentucky!

This house is spacious and well maintained. It is on a busy road but set back and it wasnā€™t a big deal. Backyard is like a private park. Little kids would love it.Location is convenient to the Ark and creation museum.

Backyard Wanderland was absolutely WONDERFUL ! I wish we could have stayed longer ! The grounds were meticulously landscaped , the beautiful home had everything you could have wanted and more ! The beds were extremely comfortable, and the accommodations could not have been more welcoming . The owners were so friendly and communication was quick and friendly . The location was super close to great restaurants . What a perfect place to stay . We will be coming back !

Wonderful, turnkey home for family gathering
We rented the home for a family get together for a college graduation. 8 adults spent the weekend with two more adult guests for a daytime visit for a total of 10 people in the home. I was thoroughly impressed with the property! There was plenty of parking for the six vehicles we had and room for even more if we would have needed it. There were enough plates, bowls, silverware and everything needed to have each person use multiple plates without having to wash them. We had City BBQ delivered and Kroger was nearby for grocery items. All 10 of us easily fit around the huge family dinner table, which was actually the reason we booked this property over others. I'd highly recommend this property to anyone that wants to have a family get together. There wasn't a single issue we had with the property and felt lucky to have had such a good experience. 10/10 for sure!

Great Property! ....with two little caveats.
This property was great! Plenty of room for our family......great farmhouse charm. And the kids LOVED the backyard. There's a playhouse, a playground with plenty of equipment, and even a concrete basketball court. The deck was wonderful, and there's even a firepit area, though we didn't use it. There were only two downsides, that you need to be aware of before you stay. 1. The highway beside the house. It's 4 lane, and VERY busy, and VERY loud. Thankfully, in the backyard we didn't notice it that much and the owner has made the backyard feel very secluded. But at night, in the bedrooms on the front of the house, you do hear lots of loud trucks and motorcycles. The owner has thankfully provided white noise machines and earplugs, so I commend them on the effort to offset the noise. 2. The age of the house. Most people will love the fact that it's old, and I think it provides a lot of charm, but just be aware, that there are a few things that go along with an old house. Bathroom doors were very hard to shut and were loud when you opened them. Also the downstairs bathroom was so narrow, that taller people may have issues. These things probably won't bother most people, you just need to know what you are getting. With all that said, for our family the house was great, the kids loved it, and I'd highly recommend.

Perfect Family Location
If you are traveling with kids this home will suit your needs well. Everything was clean, pristine and in order. We loved the backyard and appreciated the note from a previous guest to bring our own basketballs. Kids appreciated all the backyard activities along with the toys and books in the kids room. A note to future guests - all rooms are upstairs. Did not hinder our stay but know it could be problematic for individuals with mobility issues. We appreciated the ease of access getting to our destinations.

We had such an amazing time during our stay. The house was so nice and spacious. The decorations were also so well done. We enjoyed the big circle table in the dining room and the updated kitchen. The kids loved the play equipment in the backyard and we were even able to make sā€™mores with the fire pit. Such a fun and relaxing stay!

Fabulous home away from home
This is the perfect stay for a larger family or group. The home is pleasant, roomy, with a great outdoor space. If you have children, it's perfect. Everything was just as described and very clean. The kitchen was well stocked with dishware and cooking utensils and pans.
