Exactly as Described
This hotel is only one of several in the two-sided high rise that sits right across the street from Gwangalli beach. Location address is a bit vague, and the entrance to building is not clearly marked (alleyway on the right). Luckily, a very nice British /Korean couple helped us find it). The staff was very attentive despite knowing limited English. The room was exactly as described during booking. Very clean and comfortable although somewhat small. The hotel offers a daily limited continental breakfast (3 types of bread with butter/jam, egg salad, or cheese toppings; juice; fruit; yogurt; instant ramyeon, coffee and tea). They also have free access to a washer/dryer for guests to launder their clothes (Soap and Softner provided). We had a beach view room, and it was absolutely stunning. Room was quiet, but not completely soundproof (heard the neighbors alarm although mostly muted). Great location for food and just walking about. Easy access to transportation sources for sightseeing. Would definitely recommend and stay here again.

Things that saved this hotel from a lower rating: friendly staff at the front desk, good location and easy to walk right over to the beach and to nearby restaurants. Otherwise, the hotel is a bit difficult and a bit of a letdown. Parking is a nightmare, underground is always full because they allow the public to use it rather than just hotel guests, they block off many of the regular spots to save them for “larger cars”, and the men that direct the parking down there are so incredibly rude. Also no good parking in the immediate area. If you are traveling with a car, I would reconsider staying here. Something that was not clear when booking (we booked on hotels.com) is that this hotel is not its own building, it is only 2 floors (11th and 12th floors) in a large building made up of about 5 different hotels. There are 2 elevators that are shared for the whole building, for all the hotel guests and those parked in the garage, expect to wait a long time, to ride in a full elevator, and to stop at multiple floors along the way. If we would forget something in the room we would just go without because it wasn’t worth going back up to the room. Air conditioning worked very well. Shower did not drain well, and we didn’t really understand the concept of having a window (with traditional string blinds) in the shower between the bathroom and the rest of the room. Bed was hard as a rock, pillows too, and bedding was a bit scratchy. Partial ocean view has an extreme emphasis on partial.

이곳은 한 건물 중 두층을 사용하고 있었습니다. 그것에 처음 놀랐습니다. 다른층은 다른 호텔이기도 합니다. 전체가 호텔 건물이 아닌것에 실망했지만 의외로 아주 청결했고 서비스도 훌륭했습니다. 이곳은 성실하고 부지런한 주인에 의해 운영되고 있습니다. 특히 아침식사 서비스는 작은 공간을 훌륭히 사용하고 있습니다.

Hotellet delar byggnad med flera andra hotell. Egentligen har "The Marine View Hotel" bara 2 våningar, en som är reception och en med hotellrum. Så de två hissarna som finns är väldigt upptagna. Positivt: -Nära till allt, affärer samt restauranger. -Det finns en ångmaskin för kläderna - Väldigt fin strand, strandpromenad och utsikt -Personalen var trevliga och hjälpsamma Negativt: - När man checkar in, får man handdukarna i handen, som man själv får bära till rummet. Detta kändes inte som bra service på ett hotell. Varför de inte hade lagt handdukarna på rummet redan innan, är väldigt konstigt. -Man måste säga till i receptionen dagen innan, innan kl 16:00, om du vill ha rummet städat. Annars städar de inte ditt rum. - Det fanns hår på golvet i badrummet när vi checkade in, det låg även kvar efter städningen dagen efter. - Det är väldigt mycket oljud på natten, fyrverkerier, musik och festande människor. Vi vaknade samtliga nätter flera gånger. Vi visste inte att det var party varje natt precis vid hotellet.
