Walk from Beach House Dunsborough onto your own white sandy beach, sheltered from the stiff afternoon seabreezes faced by other towns in the Margaret River wine region.
You are surrounded by award-winning wineries with stunning cellar doors that serve the famous long, lazy lunch down south.
Stroll 5 minutes into pretty Dunsborough along the beach path to find delightful cafes including Assisi and Piari & Co, or gourmet food stores with fresh local produce.
Or try the shopping centre for supermarkets, bakeries and other shops.
In holiday season, a French baker comes to your door at the Beach house with freshly baked baguettes, croissants and other goods. Listen for the ringing bell!
And you have to try the famous Yallingup Wood Fired Bread direct from the German baker in the bush on Biddles Rd. His fruit loaf is divine.
Simmos Ice Creamery is a local institution only 5 minutes away on Commonage Rd, with delicious flavours including apple pie ice cream.
GETTING AROUND:
You can walk everywhere around pretty Dunsborough and its nice shops from the Beach House.
With a car, it's just a 5 minute drive to some of the world's most beautiful beaches including Meelup and Eagle Bay, which are visited by whales and dolphins.
Drive down the famous Caves Road from the Beach House to Margaret River, with dozens of beautiful wineries along the way including Aravina, Vasse Felix, Laurance, Voyager and Leeuwin Estate.
Start at Yallingup with its beautiful surf beach and Caves House, the historic old hotel with beautiful grounds that reminds you of colonial England.
The pretty bigger town of Busselton with its long jetty and sandy beaches is only 15 minutes from the Beach House Dunsborough.
