excellent but could be even better
I scored this as excellent although it’s not perfect but taking account of its good points and the price it’s outst value for money. The dinners were excellent, the ambience was really pleasant, as the photos show it’s a perfect up with powder sand under the coconut palms and several loungers under fixed “umbrellas”; all a short walk to the beach. The Leroy bungalow was also very comfortable. Hot water was erratic and so was the WiFi. With a little more attention to detail and perhaps some firmer management this place could be really superb. It’s not their fault I expect but the whole beach needs cleaning.

Wer eine ruhige Oase sucht, ist hier genau richtig! Frei nach dem Motto "polepole" geht es hierzu. Die Zimmer sind einfach, aber sehr sauber. Der Service war mehr als zuvorkommend. Die offene Gestaltung der Bungalows hat, uns am meisten gefallen. Wo andere Hotels eingezäunt waren, war hier alles offen und zugänglich. Wir haben uns trotzdem jederzeit sicher und wohl gefühlt. Bitte gebt acht auf die Palmenäste oder Kokosnüsse, die manchmal von Himmel fallen! 😀 Danke für den tollen Aufenthalt!

Das Personal der Anlage hat uns nett empfangen, für 40 € wurden wir vom Flughafen abgeholt. Man zeigte uns unseren Bungalow, es war nicht der, den wir gebucht hatten, denn dieser sollte mit Meerblick sein. Stattdessen war es ein Zimmer mit "Bad" in einem 4 er Bungalow ohne Meerblick. Der Schlafraum war ganz einfach gehalten und ohne Schrank. Die Fenster waren zwar mit Fliegengittern versehen, aber unter der Tür nach draußen war der Spalt 1 cm breit, so dass alle Insekten freien Zugang hatten. Das Bad, wenn man es so nennen darf, hatte keine Tür. Es war sehr runtergekommen und das Wasser funktionierte über Stunden nicht. Wir sollten Wasser aus einer Tonne schöpfen, um uns zu waschen und das Klo zu spülen. Außerdem hatte die Anlage über Stunden keinen Strom. Total fertig und gestresst, haben wir das erstmal so hingenommen und uns hingelegt. Das Bett roch schon so süßlich und dann sah ich sie: Bettwanzen! Wir zeigten sie dem Inhaber, er sah sie auch, bestreitet aber jetzt, dass er welche hat. Ich habe mir nochmal neuere Bewertungen angesehen, die zu unserem Buchungszeitpunkt noch nicht gemacht waren und siehe da, es gibt eine weitere Bewertung mit Bettwanzen. Ich organisierte uns ein anderes Hotel und wir zogen noch am Anreisetag um! Trotzdem hatten wir zu Hause den Aufwand, damit wir nicht eventuell Bettwanzen mit rein schleppen! Expedia kontaktierte den Inhaber, dieser bestreitet aber weiterhin die Bettwanzen.

Willkommen in Afrika. Wer mitten im Leben von Sansibar ankommen möchte und ein wenig geerdet werden möchte ist hier richtig. Dies ist keine Anlage wie einige Kilometer weiter mit Luxus und Prunk unter Europäischer Leitung. Hier ist spiegelt sich Afrikanische Gelassenheit und Einfachheit wieder. Es gibt Zimmer mit Warm/Kalt Duschmöglichkeiten aber auch nur Kaltwasser. Die Zimmer sind einfach gehalten ,Es fehlen auch manchmal Türen zum nächstem Zimmer(Vorhang geht ja auch). Manche Zimmer sind mit Klima manche mit Ventilatoren ausgestattet. Diese Anlage glänzt durch Sauberkeit und Freundlichkeit. Danke Flora ,Elvis und Ali und den Rest des Pakacha Teams Im Restaurant genießt man neben den Frischen Speisen auch die Afrikanische Gelassenheit und Ruhe sowie die Nähe des Meeres Um das Leben der Dorfbewohner kennen zu lernen lohnt es sich einige Schritte durch Bwejuu zu machen oder den Kontakt am Meer zu genießen. Generell muss auf Sansibar ein Umdenken bei der Müllentsorgung passieren damit diese Trauminsel erhalten bleibt.

Very nice people. Excellent food above all cheap. Toooo few deck chairs are available and only one hammock. Many local people spend their free time at that beach but it's not dangerous. In 30min from that place you can reach Paje with many nice restaurants.

N'allait jamais dans cette établissement, hôtel annoncé complet on ces retrouver tout seul. Si vous voulez partir en terre inconnue vous serez servi. J'ai été obligé de louer un autre hôtel.

Sauberkeit der Bungalows super! Ausstattung für afrikanische Verhältnisse ok. Das Bad schockiert im ersten Moment aber alles funktioniert! Die Anlage ist toll! Das Essen wird von ali lecker frisch zubereitet. Das Personal (dullah) hilft wenn was ist und gibt sich Mühe ! Es wurde Feuer und Musik gemacht für uns. Leider ist der Strand aufgrund Ebbe und Flut nicht immer nutzbar durch die algenplantagen vom angrenzenden Dorf . Das Wasser geht circa 7 h auf 1 km zurück das man lange nicht baden kann. Alles im allen war es schön und eine familiäre Aufnahme und nicht Zuviele Touristen -rundete unseren Besuch ab. Wir haben viele Ausflüge gemacht die Ali organisierte und trotz einiger Abstriche würde ich wieder hierher kommen eher als in eine große Hotel Anlage!

Struttura direttamente sulla spiaggia immersa nelle palme, la sera l atmosfera é bellissima e di completo relax. Le camere non hanno grandi pretese ma il rapporto qualità prezzo é ottimo. Per il mare meglio spostarsi verso paje che dista circa una mezz ora a piedi via spiaggia (gradevole visto il panorama) oppure 5 min in taxi con pochi soldi. La cucina è ottima come in tutto il resto dell'isola. E poi Dullah il tutto fare del villaggio é sempre disponibile per qualsiasi bisogno. La consiglio. 👍
