Cabin in the Mountains

Hill Top Lodging is snuggled into the ridges that make up the southern end of the Appalachian Mountains. The ridges crisscross around your views while Sugarloaf and Poteau Mountains stand proudly in contrast.
*TWINKLING LIGHTS IN THE FOREST*
Finding your way to the cabin in the mountains from where ever you call home is just a google map away. Once on Hill Top Heights the pavement turns into a gravel road that feels like a path in the woods. The entry to Hill Top Lodging to the right, is lit up by twinkling lights in the forest. Passing the Lodge, Follow the signs to the cabin further down the ridge. We take pride and care to make paths through the grounds, enjoyable for short hikes and strolls. Grab one of the provided walking sticks, wander the natural bea uty of the rock and river trails, ensuring adventure.
*BRING THE GROCERIES*
Enjoy dancing together cooking in a well equipped kitchen or webb grill. Dine together on the private deck with romantic lights and outstanding views. Please take care to not leave extra food outside. Our local tiny thieves (raccoons) will help themselves.
*UNPLUG AND CURL UP*
The cabin feels rustic cozy. The loft bedroom has a king sized plush bed and over stuffed leather chair. Perfect for unplugged moments and curling up with a good book. 2 fluffy robes are waiting to wrap you up after a long soak in the hot tub or a hot shower.
*SMORES PACKAGE AWAITS*
Enjoy the romance of a crackling fire with a blanky, glass of wine, and rocking adirondack chairs.
*CALMING MIST THROUGH THE HOLLOW*
Sip your coffee from the private deck in the early mornings. Enjoy quality time together, watching the calming mist come up through the hollow, hovering softly over the trees. Quietly watching for the neighboring deer, headed down the rock paths to the river for a quick drink from the river.
*BOOK YOUR GET-A-WAY*
Take a breath-Unplug-Get away from it all.

Wonderful honeymoon stay at the cabin
We had a wonderful time in this cabin in the mountains. It was close enough proximity to visit hiking trails, like devils dens State Park and Hevner Runestone Park, but also able to take in the secluded nature of the cabin. We got to visit Flying Q ranch and catch a movie at the Malco in fort smith both during our last full day. The bedroom loft was a little warm since it’s the peak of summer, but the host had already provided a couple of fans, ice tray in the freezer, and some cold drinks in the refrigerator to keep us cool and comfortable.

Great stay
We enjoyed our weekend stay very much. The second story loft was incredibly hot. The AC did not cool it very well. View was amazing, hot tub was great and the cabin itself was very clean.

Cabin in the Mountain
This property was stunning. From a well decorated cozy cabin to a hottub with an exceptional view. Close enough to a small town to get groceries. Far enough away from everything to get some peace of mind. Will definitely look at visiting this property again!

Perfect weekend!
We absolutely loved our stay here! If you are looking for peace and quiet, this is the place for you. Everything was super clean and decorated with personal touches that made us feel right at home. The hot tub on the deck was perfect for relaxing in the evenings, and breakfast each morning at the patio table while listening to the birds singing was a close second. The sunrise views from the loft were amazing! Just about a 20 min drive to town for supplies, and there a couple of Dollar Generals that are even closer. Brenda was quick to respond to all messages and was super helpful with everything. Would recommend this place to anyone wanting to get away from it all and enjoy some relaxation time.

Fantastic Escape
My Wife, Son and I stayed at Brenda’s Cabin for spring break and it was an excellent experience. The property is beautiful and interesting. We explored and played on the rocky boulders along the cliff side and went down the trail to the river where we skipped rocks and did some lite fishing. The hot tub was ready to go and was a welcome reprieve after hiking all day. The Cabin was very comfortable and warm. The beds were cozy too. Clean towels and linens were provided on arrival and refreshed mid way through our stay. The kitchen is stocked with necessities and the propane grill worked well. Nearest grocery store was about a 20 minute drive. There is some internet connectivity but we did not use it too much. There are excellent national parks and other trails within driving distance.

Relaxing Weekend
My husband and I drove up from Texas for a quiet NYE. We had intended on doing some hiking in the area but it was so cozy, we never left the property - just read, walked around the property, hung out in the hot tub and listened to music. It’s decorated so cute and the beds are very comfy, plenty of blankets, towels, etc. There is a beautiful view from the porch. We didn’t end up using the fire pit because it rained quite a bit but there was firewood available. It got below freezing but the heater works really well so it wasn’t a problem. The kitchen was stocked with all the basic tools you need to make your meals. It is a great place to stay for a quiet weekend away from everything.
