Very good hotel, recommended !
A really nice boutique style hotel in wonderful Paraty. Terrific central location a short walk down the famous cobbled streets to the centre square. Hotel room was a decent size, nice bedding, comfortable mattress but the A/C did not work very well, we moved rooms and found the A/C just as poor. The units required gas to make them cold. Pool area with bar and restaurant were fantastic and much needed as it was very very hot. Food was nice too, had lunch here one of the days. Breakfast was ok, a bit average but the coffee poor, I ordered a “machine coffee” with breakfast and was charged, one of my pet hates in a hotel of this calibre. Nice coffee should not be a chargeable item with breakfast! Staff were really friendly and helpful with many English speakers. Would recommend and would definitely return.

Excelente pousada!
Tudo muito bom. Desde a chegada até a saída. Funcionários bem treinados, muito atenciosos com todos os nossos pedidos, o hotel estava extremamente limpo e todas as medidas de segurança e distanciamento sendo seguidas. O café da manhã era muito bom e as comidas e bebidas do bar da piscina também. As fotos realmente não fazem jus ao quão bom é o hotel. Amamos nossa estadia.

Property is very charming. Colonial style. Beautiful pool and garden area. Staff was VERY pleasing! So nice! Breakfast was great and food was fresh. Great service. Double room (family room) could have been a little more spacious but since it's an old building....Well maintained though. Front desk was very clean and fresh all the time.

Great but don't expect to sleep
Everything was good except that we really couldn't access Wifi in our room(206). Also, throughout the night we could hear water pipes running water. Because of its central location, there was too much noise from the streets below. A woman shrieked so loud around 3am that anyone might have thought she was being attacked . Wouldn't pay so much for a sleepless night, and very poor service at the bar in the evening.

Very charming hotel and the staff was quite helpful. Room was large and very comfortable. Beautiful pool and courtyard. It was very nice to have water near the front desk for guests to enjoy throughout the day. The breakfast was nice with many choices. We would stay here again.

Beautiful and great value
This is a beautiful pousada with a perfect location right in the old town. The front desk staff, however, is lacking - and know that if you don't speak Portuguese it will be difficult to communicate with them. The staff isn't knowledgeable about buses out of Paraty or directions to get to popular restaurants and destinations. Some are helpful but many are not.

Hotel excelente , o “grande” problema é que não fomos avisados de eventos na frente do hotel com música de pessoal qualidade até altas horas de 6a a domingo até a 1 hora da manhã inclusive domingo. Impossível dormir apesar de estarmos em quarto na parte do fundo do hotel.

Nossa estada na Pousada nao foi nada satisfatória. Havia uma festa na cidade e , bem em frente o hotel, havia um palco para bandas e o início dos shows era as 23:15 com término as 1:30 h da madrugada. Apesar de termos reclamado , por escrito, ao hotel, nada foi feito para que mudássemos de quarto, apesar de ter quartos vazios e muito menos barulhentos. Ficamos quatro noites infernais no hotel e muito aborrecidos pelo fato de não se preocuparem em nos mudar para outro quarto! Jamais retornaremos nessa pousada.

Ficamos duas noites na master suite para o festival de jazz. Quarto muito confortável, silencioso e o café da manhã farto e variado. Equipe do hotel muito atenciosa e cortês. Alem do late check out as 15h, possibilitaram deixar o automóvel no estacionamento do hotel mesmo após a nossa saida. Certamente voltaremos e recomendamos
