W Lake Mitchell cottage. 1/2 mile walk to Manistee Natl Forest access w/ local trails for MTB or foot travel. EZ connect to ORV Trail 6. No need to trailer your toys.
Deeded private lake frontage & dock, 250 yards. Soft bottom, not good swimming. Distant view of lake. Great central location for ambitious hikers! Both Manistee River Trail & NCT & Fife Lake Loop are 25 min. Kayaking the rivers? Pine River or Manistee, 25 min. Quiet side of lake affords great opportunities for road cycling. Lake loops of 7, 10 or 17 miles, w/ longer routes on rolling country roads.
Restaurants, shopping, all one needs, 4-8 miles.
Driveway parking for three vehicles with additional option for a trailer.
Master bedroom has private 1/2 bath. 2nd bedroom is a cozy double and 3rd with twin bunks for the kids or those single pals.
Full bath central to all. Small cozy cottage owned and managed by same folks for years. Regular updates and good maintenance.

This place was misrepresented in the description that was online at the time. This place is not on the water. There is no view of a lake and the dock that is shown is about a half a block down the street. We were so disappointed and the owner did not work with us at all In fact, upon arrival, the book on the table described it more in detail, which should’ve been put on the description online, and the owner decided to change the description after we complained, Which was deceitful needless to say we had to file a claim with Vrbo.

Great property with very hospitable owner
We enjoyed a long weekend here with our family of four. Hank gave us great recommendations, the property was clean and well maintained, and the dock fishing was great. We will definitely be back.

Cadillac Retreat
Communication was seamless! Hank was responsive and considerate, ensuring our stay was comfortable from start to finish. The house had everything we needed and more. The location was perfect, close to all the things. We will definitely be back! Thank you for a great long weekend get away!
