In fact, on a clear day you can see the ferries leaving the port of Holyhead on their journey across the Irish sea to Dublin!

Caernarfon, with its magnificent castle, is within easy reach and also offers a fine selection of shops, pubs and restaurants, along with golf, bike hire and sailing. Beach 4½ miles.
