Great location, close to Edinburgh Airport, hotel offers a shuttle service and affordable parking onsite. Spacious room with excellent bathroom c/w large walk in shower. Hotel offers double bed or 2 x single beds, I always go for the singles as the standard double bed is far to small and very soft, with a spacious room I am surprised they don’t offer a king size bed as a minimum, on this visit I ended up with a small double bed and we spent a most uncomfortable night with minimal sleep (this was probably my error at booking as I always book 2 x singles but somehow ended up with the double). We booked bed & breakfast and the breakfast was good with a decent selection. Overall would highly recommend this hotel as (if you get a good rate) it ticks all the boxes, also all staff were very friendly, efficient and always ready to help.

A large concert was going on adjacent to the hotel. It was super loud all night. I was not informed that a concert was happening and the noose was terrible. I reserved 4 rooms for 6 people and it was a huge waste of money. The hotel is old and somewhat run down. Carpeting is old and stained. It did seem to be fairly clean.

There are better options for the money.
Overpriced to say the least. Served undercooked/partially raw chicken at dinner. Allocated noisy room above kitchen fans and our polite request to change room wasn’t particularly well received. Rooms were spotless though. The hotel was sort of close enough to the airport but you still need their shuttle bus. Would seriously consider other options before rushing back.

CARD ONLY!
This is a ‘card only’ hotel. I am told this is a company policy. When did we lose the right to choose how we pay for goods and services? My dad has Alzheimer’s disease and can not manage to use a card machine, how would he be expected to manage? Management were uninterested. For me, the lack of USB/USBc charge ports was a big problem

Great staff and location
Hotel is convenient to the airport. And the transportation to the airport easily links you up with city team. This is by far the most appealing reason to stay. Staff are very friendly and helpful.
