I cannot recommend Lily Apartments
The experience started on a sour note when we faced issues locating the apartment, following the directions provided by the booking platform Hotels.com.We waited for an hour at the given location, attempting to contact the manager,Yousuf, who finally admitted we were in the wrong place.The subsequent address he provided was in a corroded area of Maadi, and despite our insistence, he claimed this was the correct location for Lily Apartments. It was only after persistent questioning that he redirected us to the actual spot,leaving us puzzled and frustrated.
Upon reaching the apartment, we were met with disappointment as the actual unit did not match the images on the website.The cleanliness of the flat was questionable, with dust accumulating under the beds and the kitchen in a state of disarray. The kitchen was so dirty that it made us reluctant to use it, and the overall cleanliness of the apartment left much to be desired.
Adding to the inconvenience, there were frequent power cuts within the apartment, and there seemed to be no adherence to a power-cutting schedule in the area. The lighting inside the flat was insufficient, creating a gloomy and uncomfortable atmosphere.To top it off, we experienced water leakage in the bathroom, further diminishing the overall quality of our stay.
most frustrating aspect of our experience, however, was the manager'slack of transparency and accountability.he attempts to mislead us about the apartment's location & his dismissive attitude .
