The best location in Cairo city centre Very noisy at night until early hours of the morning Staff are extremely pleasant, courteous and helpful. Housekeeping is efficient and respectful Swimming pool is the best you can get in a central Cairo hotel Food is excellent in the lobby area Spoilt for choice when it comes to breakfast It is my favourite hotel in central Cairo I will definitely be staying there again.

Probably best hotel in Cairo

From checking in to the moment we left, everything was perfect. Out suite was huge with views of the River Nile and also the Egyptian museum. We dined in the Italian restaurant our 1st night and the food and atmosphere were amazing. I was in Egypt to celebrate my birthday and got a lovely surprise of a birthday cake delivered to my room. Every part of our stay was faultless

This is our first trip to Cairo. When we entered the Ritz hotel for check in. It was three hours before the check in time, then we talked to the staff and they told us by three it will be ready ( our room) when we came back around 8:00 pm the staff told us it is not ready and let us waiting in the lobby for 20 minutes and because we were tired we couldn’t handle it, went and spoke to the staff and they said you can use another room until they finish our room. We were so frustrated, very tired and really need to take shower and leave after that to go to a restaurant but couldn’t even have time to take shower or change our clothes.

Overall excellent hotel. Location is near tahrir square and downtown. Right on the Nile. Must say that the photos are deceiving - rooms don’t have a balcony although it looks like to does. Main issue I had with this hotel was the breakfast buffet. Didn’t enjoy any of the food, well the crepe was good but that’s hard to mess up.
