Unfortunate nuisances
Good: spectacular view, good communication with owner and property manager, spacious accommodations, nice deck and pool, dedicated parking, good water pressure and temperatures Bad: upkeep needs much improvement - uncomfortable bed and bedding, dated furnishings, non functional hair dryer, lack of soap or laundry detergent, key did not work well and below standard security, noisy roosters in adjoining property, thin walls / noise from other suites especially above Ugly: prevalent ant problem - ants were found entering bathroom, kitchen counter, but most notably the dining table despite no food sources being present - must have killed 100+ over the week

Fantastic property, beautiful island
Fantastic property that met and exceeded all our expectations. Spacious, stylish and very comfortable. Martin was very helpful, remotely giving us plenty of tips and advice on things to do, where to eat etc. Rosa was a phone call away locally to make sure our stay went smoothly. There was plenty to do locally especially if you wanted to experience the island's incredible nature. The local contemporary art museum - Casa das Mudas - was a brilliant discovery on a rainy day too. We look forward to returning!

Lovely spot
Wonderful location - the sunny and calm side of the island. Beautiful views from the terrace and still warm in the sun at 8pm! You absolutely need a car to stay here, it's a very long walk to the marina and the supermarket otherwise. Apartment had everything we needed and the outside space was a real bonus.

Der Pool ist mega, Apt. 2 "ausbaufƤhig"
Die Lage des Hauses ist optimal fĆ¼r AusflĆ¼ge auf der ganzen Insel. Der beheizte (!) Pool und die AuƟenanlagen sind super. Leider ist die Einrichtung von Apt. 2 etwas in die Jahre gekommen und wirkt vor allem im Bad und Schlafzimmer sehr zusammengewĆ¼rfelt - kein Vergleich mit Apt. 1, das wir uns auch ansehen durften. Der Check-in mit Rosa hat super geklappt, wir haben alles gezeigt und zahlreiche Tipps bekommen. HandtĆ¼cher kann man sich bei Bedarf selber im Waschraum nehmen.

Unkompiliziert Ablaufen - alles soweit passend.
Die Ankunft war sehr sauber, hatte ein sehr schƶnen Ausblick aufs Meer und auf die Umgebung. ā€žRosaā€œ hatte uns alles ausfĆ¼hrlich gezeigt und man konnte Sie auch stehts Fragen, falls noch welche vorhanden waren. Ein Ordner mit Informationen rund um Madeira war auch sehr Lesenswert. Einen Parkplatz gibt es vor der Unterkunft. Vor der Ankunft bekommt man noch Information zwecks Autovermietung und Einkaufsmƶglichkeiten. Den Pool darf man mit einer weiteren Einheit teilen. Stellt aber kein Problem dar, da Pool sowie Sitz- und Liegemƶglichkeiten groƟzĆ¼gig vorhanden sind.

Nice and quiet
We had a very good holiday in Madeira. The apartment was big, the environment is quiet and the view from the terrace over the sea was amazing. You need a car to drive you to the supermarket, but everything is in the neighbourhood. There is a big swimmingpool which is very clean and there are towels and sheets you can use. Also a washing machine and ironing machine are available. Sun loungers and parasols need some renewing.

Heerlijke vakantie en wat een leuk en mooi bloemen eiland! Een heerlijk zwembad! Je hebt een appartement naast je en boven je maar de omheining en begroeiing geven genoeg privacy. Je moet wel zelf je handdoeken enz. verversen maar kunt die uit de wasruimte pakken. Het wordt ook niet schoongemaakt tussendoor. Broodjes halen op loopafstand ideaal. Veel plezier gehad van de restaurant tips van de eigenaar. Dus heerlijk gegeten! Auto noodzakelijk als je wat wilt zien van het eiland! We hebben genoten!

Sehr schƶne Gartenanlage und ein sehr groƟer Pool, ruhige Lage mit tollem Meerblick. Einrichtung entspricht den Fotos, nur das Sofa ist fĆ¼r Ƅltere nicht geeignet (sehr niedrig und weich). Problemlose Kommunikation und Abwicklung, alles top sauber.

Schƶne Location in ruhiger Umgebung
Die Wohnung liegt sehr ruhig mit tollem Blick Ć¼ber den Ort und das Meer. Wenige Minuten zu FuƟ kann man morgens Backwaren bekommen oder man ist in 5 Minuten mit dem Auto im Supermarkt. Gute Lage fĆ¼r AusflĆ¼ge in die Hochebene oder den Westen der Insel, aber man ist auch in einer guten halben Stunde in Funchal oder in einer Stunde auf den Gipfeln der Insel. Sehr freundliche Gastgeber, insbesondere Rosa, die immer fĆ¼r uns erreichbar war und uns mit guten Tipps versorgt hat! Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Sehr schƶner Urlaub
Wir hatten einen wunderschƶnen Urlaub auf Madeira. Die Wohnung ist sehr schƶn und modern eingerichtet. Der Blick von der groƟzĆ¼gigen Terrasse aufs Meer ist phantastisch. Das Haus lƤdt zum Entspannen ein und ist ruhig gelegen. Ein Auto zum Erkunden der Insel und zum Einkaufen ist erforderlich. Die Ɯbernahme / Ɯbergabe der Wohnung ist unkompliziert . Frau Rosa wohnt in der NƤhe und steht jederzeit mit Rat und Tat zu VerfĆ¼gung. Die Kommunikation mit dem Besitzer war ebenfalls hervorragend. Alles in allem ein ā€žrundum Sorglospaketā€œ in einem sehr schƶnen Haus auf einer sehr schƶnen Insel.
