Property number 1317328 in case more than one family want to holiday together and if the weeks requested are already reserved on this property.For a wonderful holiday this SUPERB LUXURY villa aptly named " Tropical " is located in a very secluded quiet cul de sac in one of the warmest micro climate locations in Madeira called Arco da Calheta. This Villa offers 3 double bedrooms, one single bedroom and another extra single bed.
The master bedroom has an en suite modern bathroom and there is another bathroom and a toilet in the Villa. There is a fully fitted modern kitchen with all amenities and a separate laundry room. There is Wi-Fi connections and cable TV in the villa. There is off road private parking with a garage and the lovely gardens also have a barbecue area for outdoor dining. Having a holiday in this lovely villa provides everything for a great holiday. Last but not least there is a private swimming , security alarms and electric gates open to provide off road car parking. The pool can be heated up to 26 degs and this price will be 30 Euros per day.

All shops within walking distance but a car highly recommended to see this lovely island.

Great Villa for family vacation
Villa was super clean and the beds and furniture were very comfortable. The location was perfect. We found lots of good restaurants nearby, loved the pool and were able to explore a lot of the island. Communication and check in were very clear and easy.

Quiet location, lots of space with everything you'll need
The property has lots of space, was very comfortable and had everything we needed. The pool was perfect for our two boys. Rosa was the perfect host and the welcome cake was delicious! The location is quiet. We needed a car but there were some bars/restaurants and a small shop within walking distance. It was a good base to explore the island with the car and Funchal is an easy car journey. Thank you for a great week. We hope to be back soon!

Villa is very large and has all amenities you need while away. However while we were there the Pool lighting wasnt working so we couldnt use the pool late in the evening and the washing machine wasnt working either. Besides that everything else was fine. The location is high up in the hills so you will defintely need a car to get around as there isnt much in the way of local shops and bars etcbut the local town and beach is only 5 min by car. The remoteness of the villa does offer superb views however and it is very tranquil

Wonderful holiday in a beautiful place
We enjoyed our holiday at the villa. Everything was perfect - from booking to checking in on arrival to checking out. The hosts were very friendly and helpful and could be contacted at any time. The villa was very clean and spacious and had everything we needed for our stay. The pool and the BBQ area were fantastic. The pool was very warm and we used it throughout the day and in the evenings (quite often as late as 10pm). We were greeted by Rosa on arrival, she gave us all the information and answers all our questions. Delicious homebaked chocolate cake was a bonus - the kids could not get enough of it. The area is lovely - people are friendly, the views are beautiful and the beach is only 5 minutes drive. Many lovely restaurants short drive away too. We all enjoyed our stay at the villa and in Madeira, it was a fantastic holiday. Thank you to our lovely hosts for making us feel so welcome.

The house is quite huge. We kept making a wrong turn looking for one of the upstairs bathrooms 😊 Clean, neat, tidy, with everything you could want for a relaxing stay. Large airy living room with comfortable sofas. Well equipped kitchen with all utensils including sharp knives! Luxury. A short uphill trek to shop and bar. Quite private with shrub planting, although that may change a little with the 2 new houses being built opposite. Flexible and efficiently serviced by Rosa, with owner Alberto on the site opposite most days should there be any problems (there weren't).

Beautiful place
We arrived in this beautiful place on Dec 21st & enjoyed the magic of Christmas with pretty lights in every village all the way from the airport to Calheta and beyond. The beauty didnt end there. The forests, moors, beaches, mountains and even the volcano were just around a corner or through a tunnel. Each double bend brought yet another wow factor. Amazing place. The fireworks were a real treat. Worth coming to Madeira for the fireworks alone! 25 stations of the most incredible firework displays at new year in Funchal, wow wow wow! Truly amazing. The villa was beauitiful, the pool on the west of the house didnt quite get the winter sun we had hoped but at 28 degrees it was pleasant enough to swim in. The lounge and bedrooms were comfortable and our stay was really relaxing. We are looking forward to our next visit to Madeira as there is so much to see and do. Thank you Rosa and Alberto for your kind hospitality.

Amazing place to stay and amazing hosts
We have visited Madeira in March 2017. Tropical Villa is an amazing place to stay- it is located in a quiet cul-de-sac in Arco de Calheta which is only 30 mins drive from Funchal. Perfect location as the base to start any type of adventure anywhere in Madeira. Local mini markets are up the hill and if you need a bigger shop for BBQ, visit the main supermarket in Calheta which is 5 mins drive away (marina with sandy beach and bars and restaurants). The villa is exactly as the description and photos on the website detail- spacious, airy and has all amenities you need for your stay. We couldn't have enough of the swimming pool- it can be heated up to 28C and it has a beautiful view onto the steep hills and the Atlantic Ocean. We met Rosa- the property manager and Alberto- the owner- who put effort into making our stay as good as possible- they are very friendly and helpful. When you visit Madeira and want to explore the island, you do need a car- the best option is to hire a car with engine more than 1.2 and automatic gearbox as the steepness of the hills is a real challenge. We do recommend the villa and definitely will be back next year!

J'ai bien aimé la maison et son environnement mais je suis assez déçu car l'option payante de la piscine chauffée présentée dans l'annonce que javais pourtant réservée et que l'on m'avait garantie avant le séjour n'était pas au rendez-vous. La piscine était gelée et impraticable. Cela nest pas très professionnel d'autant que j'avais choisi cette maison pour cela. Autres petits bémols: la hotte de la cuisine ne fonctionnait pas et on ne capte pas la wifi dans les chambres.

Belle Villa
Idéalement située au sud, elle nous a permis d'accéder à toutes les visites prévues sur l'île en maximum une heure de route. Bien qu'un électroménager un peu vieillissant, elle a répondu à nos attentes. Rose est adorable, très serviable et merci encore pour le gâteau d'accueil très apprécié.

Rien à dire tout est comme sur les photos, c'est une belle villa dans laquelle nous avons passé de très bonnes vacances. La piscine après les balades c'est vraiment bien. Je ne regrette pas d'avoir choisi cette location.

Le paradis
La villa est magnifique encore plus belle que sur les photos. Elle est très spacieuse, très bien équipée , vraiment agréable à vivre. Beaucoup de rangement (dressings) et très propre. Le petit quartier est très calme et la villa est bien située puisque les commerces sont proches. Une voiture est, ceci dit, indispensable. La vue mer : grandiose. Le gérant de l'agence est à proximité en cas de besoin et le personnel (ex : ménage) est très sérieux et discret. Une belle île, un environnement reposant et des paysages très différents (mer/montagne) tous aussi magnifiques les uns que les autres et un climat tempéré bien agréable. Nous avons adoré cette quinzaine de vacances et recommandons vivement la villa tropical.
