I took my wife for her 70th birthday, the staff were super friendly and helpful, we had a problem with our television so they moved and upgraded us to another room. Anibal was very helpful to us.

Convenient location and good food.
The room we booked at the CookBook hotel (Junior Suite) came with the most wonderful balcony (it was huge!) and a separate little lounge area. The bathroom was large, clean and well stocked with nice products. I had a massage one day in their spa, which was wonderful. The food in the restaurant was lovely - though we didnā€™t realise it wasnā€™t open until Thursday so had to find alternative arrangements on our first night. Not a problem though, as gave us the opportunity to walk into Calpe and see a bit of the seafront. It was about a 15 minute walk to the sea and centre of town, which was fine for us and also meant that the area immediately around the hotel was quiet and residential. It was a good base for being able access that coastline and explore other areas nearby, such as Moraira and Denia.

A boutique hotel overshadowed by its restaurants
Located in a quiet residential area just outside Calpe this boutique hotel has become a little faded in its decor and could do with some refurbishment, particularly in the bathrooms, if it wants to retain a ā€œboutiqueā€ status. On the positive side the staff are very helpful and charming. Much emphasis is given to the two restaurants linked to the hotel which are very popular and successful. Sadly the hotel does not receive the same high standards.

Peaceful retreat.
We had a 3 night stay with the intention of having a relaxing time. The hotel staff are very friendly and always helpful. The pool was lovely - very peaceful - lots of birds flying about. We didn't eat at the hotel apart from Breakfasts so can't comment on the food. The menus did look a bit pricey but they have been good value. The hotel is an oasis of tranquility but still within walking distance of the main town etc.

Very comfortable, after one night had a small water leak in ceiling were moved rooms within minutes of notifying management. Only down was emergency led lighting in the second room which was quite bright at night. The Komfort restaurant was good value, staff friendly and accommodating. Free coffee whenever and extensive breakfast

Very good hotel
Very nice small hotel. Lovely food and good location. Staff were extremely nice and so helpful. Only ctitisms are they had no english tv channels and the bottle opener for the water etc was useless! Reception assured us we should have English channels and would rectify but never did. Our friends had the same problem when they stayed there last year. Would recommend this hotel though and would definitely stay again.

The staff were really friendly, the place was well looked after and peaceful. We were upgraded to a junior suite which was fantastic. The breakfast was good, the pool is lovely and overall, it was a really comfortable 10 night stay.
