Podere Fulignano' is a beautiful old farm house complex which has been lovingly restored. It is situated in the middle of a 300 year old olive grove.
Casa Lola is situated next to the old pizza oven and got a lovely terrace overgrown with wistetia. It offers beautiful garden views and over the the lovely Tuscan Countryside.
All three charming houses, which are mostly covered by wines and wisteria, are full of character with excellent quality furnishings and up-market fittings. Beamed ceilings, terracotta floors and hand painted tiles from Siena in the bathrooms are found throughout them.
'Podere Fulignano' is perfect for both big groups and families who love to spent some time together but also like to enjoy their privacy as well. It is set in 50 acres of ground and the three independent cottages are far enough apart to guarantee peaceful privacy if needed.
Campagnatico, the next village is only three minutes by car from the farm.
It is the ideal place for anybody wishing to get away from it all and to relax and experience real Tuscan life without having to use the car every day. The huge pool, beautiful garden and great views make it a perfect stay for everyone.
Golf Information: 3 different 18 holes Golf Courses located within 50 km from the property, open all the year: “Golf Club Toscana - Il Pelagone” (35 km), “Golf Club Punta Ala” (about 35 km), Golf Club Monte Argentario (50 km)
'Il Pelagone' is 18 holes, 5.920m, and PAR 71-SSS 70, with many facilities: training field, putting green, pro shop, hire cart, golf bags and trolley, bar, swimming-pool, volley, baby-sitting. During winter is closed on Wednesday.
'Punta Ala', opened in 1964, is 18 holes, 6.168m, PAR 72-SSS 72, with driving range, golf-cars, pro-shop, golf trolley, bar, restaurant and spectacular views all around. Open everyday.
'Monte Argentario' is a spectacular Course on the half island of Monte Argentario between the pitoresque villages of Porto Ercole and Porto Santo Stefano.

Perfect holidays
Es war ein traumhafter Urlaub in einer fantastischen Umgebung. Der riesige Pool lässt keine Wünsche offen. Auch der Grillplatz mit dem schönen Pizzahaus ist einfach nur traumhaft schön. Perfekt um die toskanischen Sonnenuntergänge zu genießen. Die Grillen bzw. Zikaden geben dazu ein tolles Konzert. Die Casa Lola hat alles was man für einen entspannten Urlaub braucht. Man taucht in eine wunderschöne Landschaft mit sehr freundlichen Menschen ein. Luciano und Daniela sind absolut herzlich und immer um das Wohl der Gäste bedacht. So könnte wir noch weiter schwärmen...

what a great pool
So much enjoyed the beauty of this place. owners take great care of every detail. The biggest pool we ever had, 35 meters of blue water hiding in an amazing Tuscan Valley. The nearby village offered fantastic food, the best Bistecca Fiorentina and great pasta. We went to the famous Tarot garden, just an hour away. The kids also loved the art of Niki de St. Phalle The nearby kite surfing beach was already open, we will come back for that when the water is warmer, thanks Mel for the great days,

Peaceful location, beautiful views, perfect service
The villa is located in the middle of a huge olive yard and surrounded by a very well maintained garden. A beautiful terrace with a nice view. Everything in the house worked very well and it was spotless clean. Because of our late arrival we asked for a little starter package for the next morning and Daniela -the lovely housekeeping lady - prepared that for us. Very convenient and very much appreciated. The pool was not open yet but it is just huge and we decided to come back next summer. A perfect place for excursions if you want to explore the not yet crowded Maremma.

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen erholsamen Urlaub. Mel und Thomas sind total nette Vermieter. Sie haben uns gute Tips gegeben und waren immer hilfsbereit. Uns hat der Urlaub sehr gefallen. Der Pool ist ein Traum und die Unterkunft lässt keine Wünsche offen. Um vom Alltag Abstand zu gewinnen, ist dass der richtige Ort mit zwei ganz lieben Vermietern.

Einfach traumhaft
Wir haben die letzten Jahre unseren Urlaub immer in der Toskana verbracht, aber es war noch nie so perfekt wie dieses Jahr. Die Unterkunft ist sehr liebevoll eingerichtet und perfekt ausgestattet. Der Pool ist einfach traumhaft. Und die Umgebung unglaublich schön. Wir haben die Zeit wahnsinnig genossen und freuen uns schon auf nächstes Jahr.

Pristine inside and out!
If you are truly looking for seclusion from the hustle and bustle of life, this is the place for you. Located down a steep, winding gravel driveway you will find incredible views and TOTAL privacy. No television or electronics to distract you. Huge pool down a small hill from house. Attention paid to details with comfortable outdoor seating, perfectly maintained gardens. Inside well equipped kitchen, plenty of hot water. The outdoor pizza oven is spectacular. The closest market is small and no english is spoken. 15 minutes away though is a well stocked coop. This home is isolated so make sure that is for you.

Living 'la dolce vita' in an adorable surrounding
The casa lola, a charming stone house for 4 to 5 guests, lies within an old olive grove near the picturesque small village of Campagnatico. The surrounding is quiet and beautiful. We enjoyed the view of a picture-perfect tuscanian landscape from our grounds. There are two other houses for travellers - anone belongs to the owners -, so the place was not 'packed' at all with people, you get loads of space for yourself (which was an important factor for us). The facilities in casa lola are impeccable, there's everything you need for a good living (well set up kitchen, very clean and neat in- and outside the house etc.), and even more: Around the corner of the house you get your own pizza-oven and barbecue-grill (runs with gas) besides a lovely terrace where you want to spend hours of cooking and 'mangiare' and fine red wine while enjoying tuscanian sunsets. Then, there's the large pool area, few yards below the housing complex, which makes it hard for you going out for a daytrip. You just don't want to leave there. ;) Of course - the price for enjoying peaceful solitude - you need to be motorized for doing grocery shopping, sight seeing. Siena is a one hour ride from Campagnatico e.g. Food is best when buying at the local market or super markets in Grosseto, half an hour by car. The owners and staff (special thanks to Daniela and Luciano!) were helpful and caring. There is also a small guide book at the house for activities in Grosseto and Campagnatico, with restaurant and shopping suggestions. We absolutely recommend the Casa Lola and we hope we have the chance to come back soon!

wir bleiben hier :o)
Beste Mel Die Sonne hat uns wieder ... Axel & ich haben beschlossen WIR BLEIBEN ... Manchmal glückt der Versuch, nicht ans Koffer packen und Abreisen zu denken – aber eben nur manchmal. Wir hatten ganz besonders schöne Tage in Eurem home, haben viiiel gewandert – „bis nach Sienna“. Bei Wind und Regen und natürlich immer wieder bei herrlichem Sonnenschein. Wir haben lekker gekocht und noch besser „außer des eigenen Kochtopfes“ gegessen – was für eine gute Zeit. Eure Katzen sind so gute, wohl erzogene Tiere. Jeden Morgen habe ich sie gerufen, sie gekuschelt und der Bande Milch-Wasser-Frühstück gegeben – dann lagen sie bei uns im Schatten – putzten ihre plüschigen Samtpfoten, schurrten und entschwanden lautlos. Am Samstag machen wir nun wirklich „ernst“ – fligen von Rom nach Hause – zum Glück scheint in Den Haag die Sonne – nehmen alles an Erinnerungen mit (die wiegen n ichts im Koffer, aber in unseren Gedanken schwer, schön schwer!) und lassen auf unserem, für 10 Tage ausgeliehenem Tisch mit „a view“, das Pinienzapfen-Hülsenfrüchte-Ensemble“ (unsere Deko vom ersten Tag an) zurück. Mögen alle Gäste Ruhe und diese Zufriedenheit, Glück und Freude „im Enrico“ finden – wir haben es ... Ganz vielleicht reisen wir schon FR spät abends ab – die Idee, im Hilton am Airport zu schlafen – ABER Axel mag bis auf die letzte Sekunde bleiben – so denke ich, werden wir gen 5:30 am SA „früh in See stechen gen Rom“ – der Flug geht irgendwas gen 9:40 ... anyway. Wir lassen deb Schlüssel unter dem Stein, bei Luciano haben wir bezahlt – was für ein guter, freundlicher Mensch und wie dumm, dass wir kein italienisch praten – mit unserem sehr spärlichen Langenscheidt versuchten wir es, aber von Erfolg kann da nicht die Rede sein. Bitte richte Luciano auf diesem Weg hartelijke groetjes von uns aus! Bedankt. Auf ein Wiedersehen. Alles Liebe und take care Axel en Andrea ... wir waren zu feige ins Pool zu springen – zu kalt zum Schwimmen – traumhaft zum Wandern – AAABER morgen werde ich eine Runde im Wasser machen – versprochen. Heute schon ist es sehr warm (puuuh, sportlicher Ehrgeiz zieht uns nach San Gimignano – studentische Erinnerungen ... – letzte Wanderrunde) und morgen wird eben geschwommen und in die Ferne geschaut – ans Packen denkt hier keiner ...

Schöner geht nicht!
Liebe Mel und Thomas, wir hatten einen der schönsten Urlaube je! Neben der tollen Villa, die perfekt ausgestattet und wirklich keine Wünsche offenliess und dem fantastischen Pool, dessen Ausmasse all unsere Erwartungen übertraf und dem romantischen gelegenen Pizzaofen, durch den wir die beste Pizza unseres Lebens gegessen haben, muss man auch die wunderbar gepflegten Gärten, schönen Ausblicke und vor allem aber eure Gastfreundschaft loben. Euer Tip Castiglione della Pescaia und dessen wunderbarer Strand war genial und auch sonst hat man von euch den perfekten Ausgangspunkt für Sightseeing jeder Art. Wir haben nur Siena und Pisa geschafft, da der Pool doch allzu verlockend war. Herrlich, ein kühles Bier aus dem Poolkühlschrank mit ein paar Grissini am frühen Abend, die Kinder entweder auf dem grossen Trampolin oder im Pool rumhüpfend...alles wunderbar entspannen! Den einzigen Minuspunkt, den wir haben, ist der, dass ihr leider offensichtlich sehr erfolgreich vermietet und wir somit gezwungen sind, schon jetzt unseren Urlaub bei euch für das nächste Jahr einzubuchen. Aber es gibt schlimmeres;o)...Vielen Dank für alles, ihr werdet uns jetzt nicht mehr los :o)! Peter, Biggi und Pauline

unendlich schöne Woche im Casa Roberta
Liebe Mel, ein herzliches Dankeschön, dass unsere Famile so eine tolle, entspannte Woche im Casa Roberta verbringen konnte. Im Casa Roberta fehlt es einfach an gar nichts. Alles ist liebevoll aufeinander abgestimmt und eingerichtet, so dass wir uns direkt absolut wohlfühlten. Das traumhaft schöne Anwesen des Podere Fulignano machte es uns leicht, den Alltagsstress schnell hinter uns zu lassen und die Seele baumeln zu lassen. Unsere Kinder (12, 15 J.) haben vor allem den tollen, großen Pool genossen, wo sie sich auch gerne mit den Kinder der anderen Familien verabredet haben, während wir auf den schönen Deckchairs viel gelesen haben. Zu den schönsten Augenblicken gehörte es, abends bei einem guten Glas Wein auf der Terrasse beim Pizzaofen den Blick über die sanften Toskanahügel schweifen zu lassen und den Sonnenuntergang zu genießen. Einen lieben Gruß auch an Luciano und sein Frau, die uns direkt bei unserer Ankunft schnell und sehr freundlich, die leere Gasflasche ausgewechselt haben. Für uns vier steht jetzt schon fest, dass wir nächstes Jahr auf jeden Fall noch einmal wiederkommen möchten. Auch unseren Freunden haben wir dieses Domizil begeistert empfohlen. Rund herum einfach klasse! Wir freuen uns jetzt schon auf 2011!

Liebe Mel, eigentlich wollte ich mich schon viel früher gemeldet haben, aber kaum waren wir aus dem Urlaub zurück, hatte uns der Alltag wieder ;-) Ich wollte mich nochmal ganz herzlich bedanken! Wir haben einen traumhaften und unendlich entspannenden Urlaub im Casa Luciano verbracht. Das Anwesen ist einfach unbeschreiblich schön und wir planen jetzt schon mit einer größeren Gruppe zu kommen! Wir haben in der Casa Lola gewohnt - ein ganz süßes altes Steinhaus, sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und sehr gut ausgestattet, falls man selbst kochen möchte, anstatt in das hervorragende Restaurant im Dorf (5 Minuten mit dem Auto) zu fahren. Die ganze Anlage ist unglaublich liebevoll und hochwertig gestaltet und wir haben uns aufgrund der herzlichen Atmosphäre dort sofort wohlgefühlt. Die Gastgeber sind super freundlich und hilfsbereit, jederzeit ansprechbar und haben uns tolle Tipps für die Umgebung und Restaurants gegeben. Wir haben unsere Zeit allerdings am liebsten an dem riesigen (!) Pool verbracht und dort unter den großen Sonnenschirmen mit Blick auf den wunderschönen Olivenhain entspannt. Besser geht es nicht!

Kleines Paradies
Unser Aufenthalt war traumhaft schön. Dafür sorgten: eine malerische Umgebung, ein wunderschönes Haus, der Pool und 4 süße Kätzchen und 10000 Sterne am Himmel. Die Ansprechpartner vor Ort waren sehr freundlich uns hilfsbereit.

Der Himmel auf Erden
Es war ein perfekter Urlaub im Paradies. Die Unterkunft war komfortabel ausgestattet und der Pool war der Wahnsinn!!!! Wir waren bestimmt nicht das letzte Mal an diesem wunderschönen Ort.

Lovely and very peaceful
A fantastic relaxful place to hideaway from everything. You need a car to get there and to buy groceries. When you are there the time stand still and you can really enjoy whats free in life - the enjoyment of each other.
