The front desk service is non existent, I was trying to upgrade my room last night for my upcoming stay on the 17th and instead it charged me for a night at the upgraded room . Tried calling the resort all night and all day today but no one answers , I sent emails regarding the mixup and requesting the upgrade but no answer . Not a good sign when it comes to customer service , I have 3 more days to decide what my next step should be . Thank you

The food is amazing. Drinks as well. Kid frinedly with alot of activites for them. The resprt is out dated but they were doing many repairs. The swim up pool rooms were really nice. But the water was cold.

The room wasnā€™t the cleanest, and had a terrible sewer smell. The hotel is beautiful but that smell in our room was awful. Dining is an issue here. You have to reserve dinner in advance and they full up quickly. All restaurants are closed from 11am-12:30pm which wasnā€™t clearly communicated so we had to wait a while to eat lunch the first day. We missed breakfast because we decided to sleep in. There are a lot of fun activities happening on the resort which was a plus. It wasnā€™t a horrible experience but I donā€™t think Iā€™ll be back.

I liked the location of the property. I loved the variety of food and all the different bars. I did not like being bombarded at the front door with the diamond club package/timeshare deal. Let your guest settle in once they arrive and don't give a sob story about how you make your living from it to guilt trip people!

The property is very nice even though it does need some work. The staff is very nice and helpful. The hideaway pool and bar were very nice. The biggest issue is the constant hounding to buy an upgrade or to sit down for a presentation on their vacation program. Our room was very nice, clean and stocked upon us asking. We enjoyed our stay here.

Very good, Resturants need to focus on keeping and delivering food hot and at proper food safety temperatures, this was a constant issue. Being that food service was a past profession of mine I had an eye and nose for thingsā€¦.. Buffet was on point for being a buffet. Zen was no good to much to tellā€¦. my butler Alfredo very professional, honest and prompt when he said he would do something he did along with texting me daily updates of resort to doā€™s. Drinks could be more consistent but if you want that frequent a good bartender when you find one. Excursion times are exaggerated expect them all to be 2-4 hours longer with transport etcā€¦ Expedia dropped the ball on the Xcaret excursion they didnā€™t contact the transport and tell them we were supposed to be on this excursion luckily I had my paperwork in order, also not explaining the grounds properly we were not prepared and we had to return to resort early and miss half the day along Definitely a tourist trap $$$ Booked another excursion for isla mujeres this time at the resort said it was 6 hours but ended up being 9 not a problem no delays but would be nice to know so I could pack and plan bring proper funds etcā€¦ Told us pick up was 740am wrote it on receipt show up and they said 840amā€¦. Not an issue just made the start of our day a little hectic for no logical reason. Beach could use a lot more attention but the best it can be for the sargassum floating in. Definitely has the potential to be a 5* resort
