3 Bedroom Mountain Retreat

This unit has been sold and is only available until the end of 2024. If you see any dates available in 2025, please do not book them as they will not be honoured. This is located on the second floor of Grizzly Lodge in the Lodges at Canmore, with mountain views and overlooking the heated outdoor swimming pool from across the driveway.

This condo is equipped with all of the things you need to prepare your meals, whether it be a BarBQ that interests you, or throwing a casserole in the oven. There are many great restaurants in Canmore, or just a 15 minute drive to Banff if you are more into getting away from cooking your own meals. The outdoor hot tub dedicated to this building is located on the same floor, so just head on down the hall.

Downtown Canmore is within 15 minutes walking distance or a few minutes drive, where you can stroll through town and browse the shops, enjoy a nice meal, or spoil yourself with a day at the spa. If you are looking to be active during your stay, you can enjoy one of 6 nearby golf courses, or during ski season check out one of 4 ski resorts in the surrounding areas. There are hiking trails and bike trails, and even a nearby park to take the little ones. This unit sleeps 6 comfortably and privately. Two additional guests are on fold out cots in the living room area.

Generally good value for your money. The space is generous and well laid out. Could be better with a few upgrades, e. g., sofa bed mattress is old and not usable and living room chairs also past their useful time. The day to day cleanliness is okay but could use a deeper clean on a regular basis.

The condo is clean and comfortable. Kitchen well stocked. It has a small but nice balcony to enjoy during good weather. It's directly across the street from a large swimming pool, which was a bit noisy at times, but the swimmers vacated the pool by 10 PM.

Lovely home for family vacation
We had a lovely vacation in this space that was perfect for our family of seven. Being within a very short walk to the Cornerstone Weddings for the reception we were at was a huge bonus! We appreciated all the amenities and it was well stocked. It was nice to have the playpen and high chair provided! The suite was exactly as described. We would stay here again.

We overlooked no AC but didn't need it after our first night. One overhead fan didn't work at all and another one in the bedroom light came on in the middle of the night for several nights. There wasn't a National Park pass but owner offered to buy us one.

The property was all it was advertised to be. The kitchen was clean and modern, all appliances were in good working shape. The beds were comfortable, access to washrooms convenient, living room a very capable visiting space, amenities provided were totally adequate for what we required. This is a great place to house a group of friends or a larger family and I would certainly consider this property in the future. The friends that stayed with us expressed similar sentiments.

Canmore Stay
This property was "ok", but not what I was expecting in a "mountain retreat." It was located in a busy complex that overlooked the main entrance. Because there is no air conditioning we had to have the windows open. There was lot of noise from kids playing in the pool, traffic, as well as people walking home from nightclubs in the wee hours of the morning. The property says it sleeps 8, and there is space for 8, but it would be VERY tight. When we arrived, it was very "stuffy" and the main ceiling fan was not working. And while it was "generally' clean, the furniture in the bedrooms and living room had a layer of dust. We were very busy while in the area, and did not spend a ton of time there - so not a huge problem, but as I mentioned, it not what I was expecting in a "mountain retreat."

Great location and amenities
We had a great stay here during our ski trip. The location is great and walkable to a number of shops and restaurants. The park pass was also very useful as we were going in and out of the park each day for skiing. Having access to a parking spot in the garage was also very convenient. Would definitely stay again if visiting.

Great family property
The condo was perfect for our family. We were two parents with two adult daughters and their partners. The condo sleeping accommodations were excellent and the common spaces were super for us to hangout, chat and socialize. Would definitely stay there again.
