This was our first time staying here. We were in town for a family reunion. The Lady at the desk was very friendly and when she saw that it was just my wife and I she upgraded our room to a single king bed room from our double queen beds. Breakfast was good and checkout was smooth and friendly also.

We had to find a hotel because of hurricane Milton and this was where we ended up choosing. As soon as we walked in, the pool had a weird looking film on the top. Went into the elevator and there was dog pee on the floor. Walked into the room and noticed one towel looked stained brown and also noticed the night before we left that one of our beds actually had a coffee creamer smell/stain even though we didn’t bring in any or have any from the room. There wasn’t much we could do at that point because we arrived after check in and couldn't ask for a refund so we decided we would go to Walmart and buy Clorox wipes and wipe everything down ourselves. No other hotel was open that allowed pets and we didn’t want to lose $750. Wish it would’ve been a better a cleaner experience. We booked with Expedia and then we were almost charged an extra $311 on top of the hotel charges even though we chose pay at hotel, and the person up front didn’t catch it but thankfully a woman fixed it for us which was a 10/10. The area around the hotel isn’t the best and you can be met with a lot of sketchy people but it is what it is.

What I liked about this hotel was, the fast check-in and the decent continental breakfast (eggs, waffles, grits, muffins, cereals and a few other items). What I disliked was, the room was a bit dirty, room was very humid (sheets felt wet), bed was very tough, and the elevator didn’t work too well and the furniture was a tad ruined. Parking lot was good and well-lit. The area had various restaurants/places to eat within walking range. Overall, stay at your liking.
