Great getaway

Labor Day getaway

The house looked very clean upon arrival. It was very cozy and well kept, home was very spacious and the view towards the lake was great, the backyard jacuzzi was idea after a long day of shopping and tubing, we relaxed and enjoyed the quiet evenings. We really would have loved to grill but the outdoor bbq pit needed deep cleaning and repairs. A minor detail when we arrived we noticed the outdoor trash can was full of trash but we still managed to dispose of ours, Over all it was a good place for a weekend getaway.

Eclipse-ers

All good except for one recommendation: stock the kitchen with PLENTY of keurigs (coffee), tea & at least powdered creamer. There were only a few. At other VRBOs, being greeted with a supply of coffee & tea makes for a great touch! As a fellow host, it’s worth the small investment

Christmas Holiday

Good location with sunset views, deer running along the backyard fence and a hot tub. Close to Wimberley, Gruene and hiking.

Family getaway

We loved the location and ease of checking in. There were several issues with the property, cabinet doors were broken the bench at the table was broken. The yard hasn't been mowed the living room tv didn't work well, they didn't supplie toilet paper or paper towels a roll to start with them we had to buy our own. The ice machine in the fridge was frozen over. It was cleaning had spider webs and dirt and hair in bathroom corners. We had to have them come and clean the hot tub the day after we checked in it smelled so bad and was yellow. The listing had listed a fireplace it wasn't working had a large picture over it. Washing machine makes a horrible off balance noise every load. The maintenance is seriously lacking through the whole property. Nails sticking up on the deck, the flower beds and retaining walls need some work. The broken futon couch in the living room was awful. The place would be amazing if someone took the time to fix minor things. The media room was a huge hit and the hot tub after they came and cleaned it. We enjoyed our stay but was taken back by the lack of care put into the house. I've never stayed anywhere that toilet paper wasn't a staple they provided. The place is beautiful and is easy to get to has a beautiful deck and fenced in back yard.

We are so glad to hear that you enjoyed the beauty of the area and the property but are disheartened to learn that you had other inconveniences during your stay. It is true that we have a policy across the board of providing "starter amounts" of disposable items such as paper towels, soaps, and toilet paper. This approach is designed to conserve resources and deter folks from using excessive amounts (which can occur inadvertently while on vacation). The hot tub is cleaned on a weekly basis, it's possible the chemicals were off balance making it yellow but I'm glad you made us aware so we could get it back to perfect for you! Our maintenance team can address all of the concerns you brought up so that we can make the necessary repairs and improvements for future guests. We deeply appreciate your suggestions for improving the property. We wish we could've been made aware during your stay so we could have the opportunity to address your concerns but thank you for your feedback.

Birthday celebration!

We loved staying here!! The location was perfect and beautiful! The house was very clean! It was the perfect place to stay to celebrate my sons birthday!!

Beautiful spot

The view was gorgeous and plenty of deer that came into the yard. Hot tub was awesome to sit in and sip a nice cold beverage. The house is adorable and looks just like the pictures. Will definitely consider staying there again. This was my sons second time there. They also enjoyed the very nice media room.

Don’t recommend this place

Place is over all real dirty they charge guest for cleaning after the place. Which when we showed up was dirty smelled and looked like an abandoned house. Trash was swept under the rug dishes were half way washed. Jacuzzi was dirty water smelled like dirty water. Fridge doesn’t work it’s been written in the reviews and still hasn’t been fixed. Tv in the living room doesn’t work can’t mirror your phone to it no internet to stream movies. Place is over all over priced and not well kept. First room of the house also is very hot. Spider webs all over inside and outside the house we had to clean the patio ourselves. So our getaway and enjoy had to clean before enjoying ourselves. Also one room has bunk beds which were full of dust. Company that is in charge of the renting is just charging for insurance twice and 100 for maintenance and not attending this place. Not worth the stay.
