Newly Remodeled, Family Friendly, Village Apartment Seconds From The Beach

Located within seconds of the beach in the Capitola Village, this newly remodeled apartment is equipped for the perfect family getaway, whether its for the weekend, week, or month. Parents can take advantage of the two bedrooms while the kids can enjoy themselves with the two beds located in the upstairs loft. Two bathrooms with shower amenities will ensure that everyone can be accommodated simultaneously. A full kitchen is furnished to service any meal. The living room is equipped with a flat screen HD TV and a pull out couch. Wifi is available throughout the residence. If there is a need to do laundry, a washing machine and dryer are available.

The balcony overlooking the Village and the beach in the background is perfect to relax on while people watching. After the sun sets, take advantage of the hot tub to further unwind. Private parking is available behind the apartment along El Camino Medio.

Steep Stairs
Not at all good for seniors. Property floors were so dirty when we arrived that our feet all turned black walking barefoot. The grill was really dirty and there was no propane. After paying all that money the owners expected us to clean everything. We did not. Only half the burners on the stove worked and one toilet was broken and barely usable. Cute place and in good location, Only 1 space to park, not 2 as advertised.

Great Location
We had a great time staying here. We were celebrating our daughter's 16th birthday with her friends. The home was perfect. The girls had the loft and my son and his friend had the spare bedroom. The home was clean. Everything you should need for a short trip was available to us. The location was amazing. You are within eye shot of the beach. The hot tub was nice. The host was responsize. We would absolutely stay here again.

Perfect location. Comfy beds and all the amenities you need to cook a nice meal. The location is incredible. You can see the ocean some of the windows. Both queen beds were comfy! My two nieces slept up in the loft in the beds and loved it. You can’t stand up there as an adult with the low roof. Perfect for little ones.

The location was perfect and so close to everything. The owner was easy to communicate with and kind. Pros- working tv with cable, hot tub was hot and clean, plates were nice and plentiful, beds were incredibly comfortable from the mattress to the sheets, couch was comfy. Cons- the trash in the kitchen was completely full when we arrived(we had to take it out). the bath tub in the master bedroom was dirty with hair in the tub from the person before us. The dryer in the outdoor laundry room was not working well- we couldn’t dry the clothes all the way. Also, the master bedroom bathroom smelled of mold and you could see it dark between the tile and the tub. The fans in both bathrooms were so dusty and probably have a hard time getting the steam out from the build up. Overall, we had a great trip but thought I would mention those issues we had. Also there is 1 spot (of 3 spaces) for parking but we were able to use 2 because the restaurant only used 1. And then we were able to have another car park behind one of us. Just something to be aware of. And the upstairs is an incredibly low ceiling. Kids have fun up there but for adults it’s just a sleeping only space.

Great location with plenty of space
We had a great stay here! The location was awesome-a quick walk to anywhere in downtown. There was a decent amount of amenities and a comfortable living space. My only complaints would be that it could have been cleaner-mostly in the upstairs loft-and the pullout couch was broken when we got there. Also, there wasn’t any propane in the grill so we had to go and get some during our stay. Overall, I would definitely recommend!

We had an amazing time! So close to all the action and great food but still enjoyed relaxing at the house. Teens loved dropping back into house after beach and shopping to dip in jacuzzi/ eat/ nap before heading back out to arcades/beach. Such a fun visit!

Perfect Weekend Getaway
This is the perfect spot to escape everyday life for a few days. Conveniently located near the Capitola Village, you can walk to all the cutest shops and enjoy some great meals and other treats. 10/10 recommend booking this property!

Great location and property
I was a little worried because a review earlier this year mentioned cleanliness …. Nothing to worry about. Pros Great location! This place is right downtown and incredibly private too. Spacious! This place is surprisingly large especially for being downtown. The master is very big, the living area also roomy, the back patio where the hot tub is…. Large enough for some patio furniture … though none. Kitchen laid out well. Appliances / bathrooms…. Newer and in good shape. Beds comfy Private parking (omg so nice to have!) Interesting,….. not really a con but an fyi The loft ceiling is low even at the high point. The 15-16 yr old teens who are 5’7 &5’10” did not mind and liked having a private space. The tv in master not connected didn’t work. The tv in living room had 4 remotes but none worked for it. Engineer Hubby spent about an hour troubleshooting and finally got it working. Wifi router required a reset

Good fit for our family
It’s been a great week at this property for the second year. The location and beds/baths really work for us. The owner replied immediately when we brought a few things to his attention…no deal breakers. People who have difficulty with stairs need to be aware access to property and down to the main street are via stairs only. It is spacious and gives us room to spread out.

Host was very receptive and fast to communicate with us. Unfortunately I wish prior guests had mentioned the amount of stairs one has to take to get into and out of the home. If you are young and without disability, it will be fine.

Cute little beach apartment but needs some deep cleaning
This cute little beach apartment is in a good location and looks well kept in photos but unfortunately we were disappointed on the cleanliness of the place. Tons of spiders and cob webs, dirt and really dusty throughout the place and hand prints and foot prints on ceiling in loft. Sheets, mattresses, pillows, couch and chairs full of stains and dirt- this place would benefit from a steam cleaning and deep cleaning. Lots of trash under the couch. Things are all over the place in the drawers in kitchen, no extra trash bags and toilet paper ran out in one bathroom with no more to be stocked. Unfortunately, it is in a cute location above Thai basil restaurant but we would not return.

Perfect Location
This property was as expected from the listing. We had 4 teen up in the loft, grandparent in one of the downstairs bedrooms, parents in the other. We had plenty of space. The location was perfect. A few minute walk to the beach and right near all the shops. There was a dedicated parking space that was always available and the teens really enjoyed the hot top. We would rent here again.

The house is really cute and the location is great, the hot tub was great. I would not recommend it for anyone who has the need for adults to be occupying more than the two beds in the bedroom because the loft ceiling is extremely low, only suitable for small kids up there, but due to the windy staircase I would almost say it isn’t suitable for anyone to stay up there. For reference on ceiling height, I’m 5’2, and I could stand up straight, and I bumped my head twice.

Amazing Condo in heart of Capitola!
Okay so this place was stellar!! There were 6 of us in town for 2 nights of music in the neighboring town own of Felton. Only 15min drive back & forth. The condo itself was so much bigger than I thought! The pics don’t do it justice. Two parking spots. Literally steps from the beach. It was perfect! We had friends cvisoting from Denver and we wanted to show them this amazing little Capitola town. They were so impressed by the spot. HOT TUB was killer after hours of dancing too! The owner was super awesome and easy to work with. We will DEFINITELY be staying here again! And for longer!! Down side the WiFi was a bad connection for us all but we didn’t care because we were on holiday. If you need to work from the condo you may need to trouble shoot with owner? Be wary of the loft… it can get hot but we were slow to notice the thermostat on the day we left. There was a fan though! All in all 5 stars.!!
