Holiday
Our family (ages 1-73) enjoyed a lovely Christmas holiday here. The kitchen is well stocked, the bedrooms are clean & comfortable, & the views can’t be beat! We took several walks around the area & also enjoyed petting the horse. Check in & out was easy, too. Great stay!

Highly recommend!!
There were five of us staying at the mountain home on the pond in Carbondale. The property description and photos were very helpful and proved to be correct. It was a beautiful and comfortable accommodation with everything we needed to cook and have an enjoyable stay. Additionally, it’s a beautiful setting, we enjoyed coffee by the pond, games inside the home, walked around the area, played golf and relaxed. The host is quick to respond which is helpful. I highly recommend this VRBO!! Thank you,
 Kimberly

A bit expensive for what you get
Neighborhood was cute, pond out back also cute with a fox who liked to come visit. Very musty old cabin smell when you walk in, but you sooon get used to that. Very dated in terms of furniture, but if you don’t mind that then you’re good. There was a hot tub but it was not working at the time. We found French fries in the cracks of the brick to the fire place. Beds were very comfortable and everyone had great night sleeps!

Great house to rent
Very clean house in a small quiet neighborhood that’s big enough for 5 adults. It also has a beautiful pond in the backyard. I’d stay there again for sure.

Stay for Week in Carbondale
House has a nice central location to the Valley. It is a bit close to the road, but don't hear much noise inside the house. House is a standard rental house. Not much fancy here, but some updates. Clean. Was not a lot of inventory of paper towels and toilet paper. Kitchen otherwise had good stocking. Would stay again.

issues with trash and laundry, but fundamentally a good house
unable to find bath towels we ultimately located them damp and wet in the dryer. Outside trash bin was overflowing, had not been emptied in significant amount of time. The house and neighborhood were lovely. But there was deficient oversight with respect to trash and laundry.

Very Enjoyable
Get house for our party of 8 on a mountain golf trip. Beds were nice, and family room furniture was very comfortable. Best was the peace and tranquility of the back years and pond. We saw it all, including beavers, swans, hawks, ducks, geese, and the best of all a bald eagle flying just overhead and a local bear in the area for a short visit. Very nice

Great stay overall
To begin with, the place itself was amazing - easy to find and check-in, clean, very cozy, with a lot of finishing touches and a great hot tub. Having the garage available would've been even better, but that's not a big issue. The kitchen had all the necessary appliances, and we've enjoyed cooking there. The only part that spoiled it was a small claim later from the management company for some spots on a dresser in one of the rooms, which were undoubtedly left from the previous guests. So if you're renting this place, or even from this company - we would recommend taking a lot of detailed pictures in the beginning to back you up.

Very family oriented
Our stay was great. It was like living home away from house. It was equipped with almost everything you needed. The fireplace was very useful. The only thing I would have liked more is to have at least on cabinet to put our own food supply, but that was just our own personal preference. Oh and if they would update their cleaning suppies. Lol. Over all it was great.

Great views, so-so property
The location and views from the property were excellent. The home itself was roomy and situated nicely. The drawbacks included; dirty main living room floor (the rug did not appear to have been vacuumed), broken vegetable/meat trays in the refrigerator (appear to have been broken for sometime but not fixed which left less room for food/beverage), and missing can opener (thankfully my 80 year old mother was able to walk us through how they used to open cans with a knife!). The hot tub water appeared to be less than sanitary which is was a big reason we rented the property, however it was not usable. Overall, it was just okay. I will say that I was put off by the property manager's assertion that we broke the top of the hot tub (Which we never utilized; I lifted the unlocked top to find questionable hot tub water and decided to forego any use of that!). Apparently my cost of the damage insurance covered someone else's problem and/or the management company was just waiting to bill someone's insurance to get it fixed. Whatever the situation, I thought it was unethical and inappropriate.
