Little gem of a hotel
We stayed in the Marriott for one night, we werdd ed down Cardiff to watch a show, from the moment we arrived at reception they were very welcoming, our room was immaculate on 7th floor, no noise very comfortable. We also had breakfast which I couldn’t fault, lots of breakfast choices, plenty of tea anc coffee on hand, the waiter service was faultless and the young girl that served coffee was so kind, would definitely stay at this hotel again

WET ARRIVAL,
No complaints about the staff or service BUT as a well recognized hotel chain I was shocked to find that there is no undercover access to the lobby from the car park and the drop off area is also poorly designed giving less than adequate protection in the event of inclement weather, which in Wales is fairly often!

Convenient for City Centre
Great hotel, very convenient for the city centre. Clean, comfortable rooms. A little noisy with the local bars below but luckily that was only early evening on a Saturday it didn't go on into the early hours. Lovely breakfast and good late checkout time.

Clean, comfy just a bit noisy .
Comfy bed . Nice bar and decent breakfast. We had a family room facing the Main Street which had a lot of bars on which meant loud music until late which is usually fine but we were up early for the half marathon so would have liked a room on the other side of the hotel ideally, worth asking for this if you need an early night . Overall though great location for shops and nightlife . Also few more drink options in the room would be good like decaf tea coffee. Nice room overall .

They gave us a room for disable person and we are not but what we really like is room itself and bathroom is very spacious and the aircon was functionally well. One thing we dont't liike is the shower area is very small. You can hear talking outaide of the room. The bed was not so good, and the carpet was a little bit dusty may be it was awhile to someone to stay this room.
