This is a good value hotel. It's warm and comfortable with free parking. The hotel is accessible. The room was a little bit tricky to get my scooter into, but at least the door stayed open as needed. The breakfast bar is an absolute gem. All the cereals, pastries, real bread, butter, sliced ham off a real joint, cheese, hard-boiled eggs, yoghurt, fruit and a really good hot drinks machine. The staff are welcoming and willing to lend a hand as needed.

The room was extremely small. No room to put your clothes away, just 3 hangers, couple of shelves, walk in shower door literally inside the room.Only continental breakfast.I guess it was a budget hotel but for an extra £50 we should have stayed somewhere else. Staff at the reception however was exceptional, the most welcoming, smiling and very helpful.

As we approached it looked like a prison block. Very bland with small square windows. Staff were polite and helpful. The bedrooms were sparce, very little furniture and nothing to sit on. I did not like the idea of wash basin in the bedroom, again prison like.

Tiny room but great staff
The room was very small, to the extent that although it had two single beds there wasn't the space to get between them. Having the washbasin in the main room was fine, but the latch on the toilet door was very loud - not ideal for the middle of the night. The staff, however, were brilliant. Very friendly and helpful

Give it a miss
We wanted a stop over on our way from London to Fishguard and somewhere close to the M4. This place ticked that box. That was it. The outside was filthy dirty and has a grim exterior, okay its right next to the motorway. I was travelling with my 2 young children, a packed car and a roof box. We pulled up in the car park and it was clear that this place didn't warrant a "hotel" status. There were several unsavoury people hanging around outside. It had a "bad part of town" feeling. I was contemplating checking out the room as we were only technically staying there a few hours, we just needed to sleep, plus it was paid for and non refundable. When my daughter said "mummy I don't think its safe here" it confirmed my thoughts. I got on my phone and booked a Premiere Inn 30 minutes up the M4 which was perfect. It felt safe, we were given a friendly welcome and everything was spotless. I should of done this in the first place. I appreciate it is a Budget Hotel but its not good. If you're travelling with children I don't recommend it. I've since learned there are plenty other places to stay that are more suitable. I wish I had read more reviews before booking, they confirm what I thought its not a safe place to stay especially with children.

Cheap but no excuse for it being dirty
Appreciate it’s the lower end of the scale for cost but there’s no excuse for dirty rooms. From the bathroom to the shower, the room was dirty. The bed was in a terrible state with a very worn mattress. Just not a good place to stay. Key cards kept failing requiring frequent visits back to reception
