This hotel was an unexpected delight. Have never been to a pit stop type hotel that offered the level of customer service, cleanliness, and welcoming environment that this place did. It was a giveaway when I called to check on my reservation since couldn't find confirmation email and the front desk staff was quite possibly the most genuinely cheerful lady I've ever gotten on a customer service call. Upon our almost 2AM arrival the young lady at the front desk (maybe same person) just couldn't have been friendlier. We were all handed little "goody" bags filled with useful travel items and encouraged to help ourselves to the multiple candy dishes laid out around the lobby. The room was spotless and updated- text from my daughter in the AM from breakfast area was that "this is best hotel breakfast I've ever had." Very happy with this stay- hope whoever owns/manages buys up more properties and runs the same!!

Loved that the entire hotel is none smoking. Outside sitting area by the gazebo had a grill . Every suite had a small kitchenette. Every employee I came across greeted me and was polite and helpful. Will definitely stay here again.

After traveling from Vermont we arrived at the Microtel in Carlisle PA. We were provided a courtesy text confirming our stay and asking if we had any special requirements. Upon arriving late we were greeted with a warm reception from the front desk. The hotel was laid out very effectively, lots of room in our suite. This hotel was the best we stayed at during our (3) week vacation. The breakfast was also the best we had during our extended vacation. Honestly, I can’t suggest there were any deficiencies with the Microtel in Carlisle PA. If you are traveling near the Carlisle PA and need a hotel, this location will not disappoint you! We will be looking to Microtel for our future hotel stays.
