Here’s a revised version of your review: --- I'm a travel nurse and stayed at this hotel on my way to an assignment. The hotel is very old and nothing seems updated. The staff was nice, but they require a $100 deposit per stay, which was not mentioned on Expedia. This information should be updated so that guests are aware of the deposit in advance. The bathroom ceiling looked like it could fall down on you at any moment while showering. The beds were comfortable but lacked a bottom sheet—only a stained and gross mattress cover was provided. I had to take sheets from one bed to make my own bed. The air conditioner was nice, and the hotel has a parking garage, which is helpful since the neighborhood seemed a bit sketchy. The first night was quiet, but the last night was terrifying. It sounded like there was a fight or some disturbance upstairs in the middle of the night that went on for a while, I left early that morning

This hotel is in serious need of updating. Carpets in the hallways were held down with duct tapes although there were signs stating they were in process of being replaced. Fixtures in the room were somewhat shabby and the carpet had burn marks from someone damaging them with a hot iron. Ironically, reading the reviews after my stay, another traveler mentioned his room had carpet had the same type of damage and their review quite old. I wonder if it was the same room. Breakfast was disappointing, basically coffee and packaged rolls. Used to be a nice(r) place, but has really aged. We get to Carson several times a year, but will not stay here again.

This is a perfectly adequate hotel for a quick overnight stay on our way from Tahoe to Yosemite. Nothing particularly bad. Carson City was like a ghost town with very few people out and about. But for just a quick overnight stay at a good price it was fine. Breakfast was simple and adequate.

Old but functional
This hotel is old, and in need of some updates. With that said, our room was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the air conditioning worked fine. We just needed a place to sleep and shower, and it got the job done.

This hotel is comfortable and clean. The staff are welcoming and there building is older but quirky and cool. Right in the center of downtown, it feels safe and everything you need is within a 10 minute drive. Would stay there again!

The hotel was really dirty and run down. Stains on the carpet and everything smelled terrible. This hotel is in dire need of a complete cleaning and possible renovation. The staff is not very friendly either and I saw them act rudely to several guests including us. We liked the location pretty well. It was easy to walk to stores and restaurants.

The first day was lovely here, easy check in and parking. The only issue we had was with requesting a room cleaning and they refused to do a cleaning since they only do it every 3 days but on the website it says it will be done upon request. With that, they were questioning us about towels since we asked for new ones. Which isn't something out of the ordinary to ask for but was a hassle. Overall it wasn’t a bad stay but we ended up leaving early because we felt like asking for the bare minimum of service was draining.

Great value. If the a/c worked really well I would've given 5 stars. Located on the main drag. A couple of sketchy folks seen behind the facility a couple of times but that's becoming the norm everywhere unfortunately. Basement parking is a big plus. Staff was great.
