From here, a day trip to the charming town of Hood River, Oregon is just 20 miles west and closer, you'll find the historic Bonneville Dam, and boat tours of the Gorge are available on the Columbia Gorge Sternwheeler, leaving from the Marine Park, a five minute drive away.
When you're not out exploring this majestic natural area, this Cascade River Watch vacation home offers a spacious retreat for up to six guests. Relax in the living room for some TV and maybe a board game. And with a full kitchen, snacks and popcorn are easy to prepare and accompany your evening's activity. There's a counter bar and a wooden dining table for the nights you plan a home-cooked meal.
On sunny afternoons, head out to the river-facing deck for a glass of wine or fire up the grill for a cookout. This is also a serene spot for your morning coffee or a post-dinner glass of port.
The three bedrooms have two queen beds and two twins - there's space for adults and kids alike and with two full bathrooms, getting everyone ready to head out in the morning will be hassle-free. In addition, your dogs are welcome, though a nightly fee per dog and minimum fee per stay will apply. You're close enough to the downtown area to walk to restaurants and shops in Cascade Locks, as well as parks along the river's edge. The easiest way across the river and to Washington state is the scenic Bridge of the Gods, and from here you can visit Beacon Rock State Park or the Pierce National Wildlife Refuge, just nine miles northeast of your vacation rental.

The pet fee is per stay and ranges between $150 and $200, depending on the bedroom count, and will apply for each additional dog.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.
