Quaint walkable to Cider House & Coffee Shop

Unique apartment perfect for a couples getaway. Sleeps four, with a full kitchen, dining table that seats four, plus peninsula seating, laundry, one bedroom, one bathroom and pull-out sofa bed.

Part of Side Street Cashmere that includes Yonder Cider, Gaucho Coffee, Brassbound Mercantile and more! Downtown Cashmere is right around the corner as well as parks, community pool and trails. Walk to the bus stop and ride for free to Leavenworth or Wenatchee.

The Chickadee Suite includes an open and spacious living, dining and kitchen area. The living room has fun games, a large Roku TV, and vintage touches that will take you back in time. The full-sized pull-out bed in the sofa can be used for additional sleeping accommodations.

The bathroom as a tub and shower and includes a stackable washer and dryer. The bedroom has a comfortable King sized bed, walk-in closet and full length mirror.

The train passes nearby which can be disruptive. Ear plugs are provided and sound proofing wherever possible to try to minimize the noise. A caretaker who lives upstairs and the 5-bedroom Chickadee Inn is next door and you may hear the guests staying there on occasion.

Our trip
Had such a nice stay! The home is clearly well loved and taken care of. It was in a great location for everything we wanted to do. We were honestly surprised with how many cooking utensils they had in used to rentals just having one pot one pan and one knife but they have it well stocked! I read the reviews prior so we were prepared for the train and it honestly wasn’t that bad. Would definitely stay again next time!

Cozy Place
The place is retro, down to earth and nice. We didn't know the train ran right next to it, but it didn't bother us at all. There is a convenient coffee place right next door. One thing I would have done differently is bring our own blankets and pillows for the foldout couch, just for our own comfort... Hot pads for the kitchen and a set of tongs would be handy, but all in all everything we needed was there. Not far from Leavenworth so that was handy and the price was decent. We'd stay again. :) Thanks Chickadee.

Girls weekend
This property is extremely clean, well furnished and decorated. It is absolutely adorable. If it wasn’t for the train, I would definitely want to stay again. Unfortunately, this property is built in an old train depot or building that is literally next to the train tracks. We did not sleep at all the nights that we stayed. Just a couple minor things there was four of us that stayed. There was only six towels with all of us being women. It would’ve been nice for us to have the availability of two towels, one for hair, one for your body. There was no extra blankets or sheets. We could’ve used a couple more blankets. I did not contact the host about this. The walls are very thin so we could hear our neighbors karaoke party till midnight. This isn’t necessarily an issue that can be fixed. It just happened to be the luck of the draw for who is next to us. And the last thing is the welcome book that’s on the little table at the front has conflicting information then what is sent to you by the host it just needs to be updated. Overall, the cleanliness and how it was furnished was great, but the location with the train lowered that my overall review for this property.

Great spot!
We loved how cute and cozy this place was and it was just a short drive from Leavenworth! Cashmere is also a hidden gem with several cute little shops.

Chickadee stay
It was conveniently located and incredibly well stocked VRBO. The kitchen was great and made cooking easy with good equipment (pans and knives). We normally bring our own knife because we find those in rentals tend not to work great and we did not need it! The bed was also really quite comfortable to sleep on. The decoration was super fun and 1920's meet 1960's:). Yonder Cider opened at the end of our week there which was a super cool space and within the same building. The proximity to the trains was both awesome and really really close! Chickadee did what they could to help with the noise at night with the horns of the trains (ear plugs, white noise machine, etc) but they do come 2-3 times a night. Thank you for a great week!
