The hotel is excellent. The staff were amazing. They truly took care of us. The food was out of this world. The view looking at the lake was magical. Fantastic hotel.

loved the location. gets a 5 star on location. lots of dining options and ferry terminal is right across from the street. We did not like how the rooms were not temperature controlled - it was extremely hot. The bathroom shower had major leaks that made everything wet. Their alternative options were also not feasible. Overall I would rate the property cleanliness and condition an average rating. but location a 5 out of 5 rating.

4 wonderful days in como.
4 night stay. View from lake view room fantastic. Bed comfortable. End tables had easy access to electric. Location walkable to everything. Breakfast excellent including eggs, cappuccino, mimosas etc. restaurant also great. Staff professional, friendly and helpful. A perfect stay.would rebook in a heartbeat .

Centre of Como, great hotel with a lovely restaurant and lots of other options in a short walking distance. Our room was a good size and had a balcony with great views up the lake.

We enjoyed our stay in Como. Close to ferry and restaurants. A lot of construction in area so noisy at times. Next time I’d opt for a town further up the lake.

We had a great experience at Barchetta Excelsior Hotel. The location was absolutely perfect. Room had an amazing view, great condition, very clean and the breakfast was great. Hotel staff was very courteous and helpful. We will definitely come back.

Such a helpful staff for dinner reservations, taxis... AC yes!!! Wonderful breakfast and dinner-pasta with tomatoes!! Best location with lake view and on a square. Right near ferries. Couldn't be better.
