Bed was comfortable & warm Disliked no handbasin in bathroom Heating did not work in very cold conditions because staff could not locate the remote Two oil radiators took chill off but did not make room comfortable. Noise from passing trucks all night

Basic accommodation. The room had some cobwebs that hadn't been cleaned. Carpet was dirty. The safety chain on the door was broken. Bathroom was unheated and the window could not be closed. The electric blanket on the bed had a broken switch and did not work. We stayed Fri-Sat nights. On the Saturday night there was a noisy party of people outside our room making noise until after 3 AM. There was drug taking and too much drinking. We were too scared to confront these people and stayed in our room. The management of this place did nothing to curb the noise. Just a terrible stay.

It was exactly what I expected and wanted in an old Aussie pub/motel setting. The only dislike was the all night noise from the courtyard on the Saturday night.

Basic but adequate for my purposes (not cold, clean bed, warm shower). Bit noisy with trucks passing during the night but the disturbance was minimal. Overall, excellent value for money.

The basics were ok. Mid winter, the heating should be better. column heater missing one castor wheel. Bathroom window could not be closed, letting any heat escape. Bathroom doors and entrance door badly fitting. But elec blanket worked and hot water was good

Lovely meal in the restaurant, very friendly staff who provided excellent service. It was a little noisy as there was a smoking area not too far from the room

The hotel's location is great - close to everything. The rear hotel rooms are opposite the river, so an abundance of birdlife roosting in the gum trees. A nice sound to wake up to!
