Absolutely beautiful B B run by great owners, who serve up a the best scrambled eggs I've ever had. Local pubs are amazing selling great food also! All the shops you will need and a beautiful 10 minute walk up a hill behind the B B to take in the view of the surrounding area. Perfect Stay.

Very friendly host and comfortable accommodation. The continental breakfast is excellent with home made cereals and lots of fruit. Parking is on the street but plenty of space during our visit. The bathroom was not en suite but was across a corridor from the bedroom, it was for our exclusive use (not shared). Located near a nice pub that does good pub-style food and easy walk to village centre. Overall a great base to explore the area.

The Perfect Hosts
Our stay started with a warm welcome and help with luggage to the top floor. We were a wedding group and had the whole floor to ourselves which was perfect. We were provided with nice comfortable themed rooms and excellent bathroom facilities. Breakfast was relaxed with plenty of choice and home made produce. Best of all, as others have said, Martin and Melanie are the perfect hosts providing excellent local advice, good food and conversation and Martin's second to none taxi service. All in all, we had a wonderful stay and Martin's taxi service took much of the stress out of meeting our various commitments. I cannot recommend this accommodation too highly!

A great place to stay in Castle Cary. The room had everything I needed, breakfast was great, and I really appreciated the pick up from the station and lift to the office on the next day. Hosts are super friendly, dogs are great, no complaints. Very high on my list for my next trip.

Everyone was absolutely lovely and so accommodating to our late arrival! The breakfast was incredible and had such a homely vibe. Also they were so lovely with the dog! Will definitely be coming back and soon!!!!

The house itself is very well located in Castle Cary, clean and comfortable but what really made Ellesmere House stand out was how incredibly helpful and friendly Melanie and Martin were. Perfect cooked breakfast, information on the area and a lift to and from the station. Martin went above and beyond what I'd expect from a B&B. Would definitely stay here again!
