A top hotel in Keswick.
We have stayed before and were looking for a last minute deal. Found it here, we were given a spacious, clean and comfortable room, and the optional half board offer was too good to miss. A very pleasant stay.

Lovely stay beautiful hotel convenient location
Beautiful hotel very clean and beautiful inside the garden was lovely to sit in and the food was excellent . Very convenient location for Keswick town . We stayed in a station room which was spacious and had a lovely king size bed and convenient sitting area my only negative is it was a bit shabby in places like holes in the net curtains but it didn’t spoil our stay x

The only sugestion would be - use a local butcher for the sausages for breakfast and upgrade the packed lunches they used to be really good !!!

A beautiful hotel set in a lovely quiet area of Keswick. Gorgeous gardens to sit and drink in. Ten minutes walk into the town centre. We only had breakfast as a meal there but that was excellent with a large choice. Rooms are lovely and the beds are very comfy. The lounges around the well stocked bar are lovely to sit and relax in. All in all, we would definitely book here again for our next trip.

Looks like part of the hotel was being updated ,parts look very tired while there are other parts which look to be part updated ,nice looking building probably listed so needs to be done within the building character.Staff very friendly and efficient

The hotel is adjacent to the town swimming pool and the accessible track to Threlkeld. The room itself was in the old railway station part of the building and was a good size with a large en suite. Bed mattress was comfortable and there was plenty of hot water. Unfortunately the TV was too small for the room size and about five feet too far away from the bed for comfortable veiwing. There were two usable plugs, neither close enough to the bed for convenience. Neither was near the kettle, which had to be moved to the shabby desk to actually use. One single glazed window opened into the conservatory and noise of people pausing on the external station platform came through loud and clear. The lights also stayed on all night and neither the curtains nor the door fitted the frames tightly, so the room was unpleasantly bright all night. The decor had been good perhaps a decade or so ago and the net curtains overlooking the courtyard had rotted through in places. A memorable two nights for the wrong reasons.
