Close to town is a bonus
As a VRBO owner myself, with 5 stars, I would expect the hospitality of owners with guest to be much better. They wrote a message to me a day before arrival stating there is no internet, and call them for the check in details. There was not an “I am sorry for your inconvenience.,..” They did try to have a company fix it. And after 4 days without, they had someone drive up a hot spot box. We used our own data for days. When I asked for dish soap the owner said to go buy it. I kindly suggested that since they had not provided the internet for 4 days, it would be kind to get soap for us. Their response was that the internet is free service they offered, not the house rental. What they didn’t understand is that they advertised a place with Internet. The husband is also was very unfriendly upon check in. I had to text, what apartment number, and then again what is the code. He seemed so put off that I asked. He is a rude man without hospitality skills. The apartment is tiny. Only good to comfortably have 3 person. This was also written in another review and it is accurate. A con is the “Ikea like” remodeled and close to town by path.

Description du chalet conforme. Les plus : dans un quartier calme, pas loin du centre (on peut y aller à pied très facilement) Deux barbecues trouvés (un charbon et un gaz). Nous avons utilisé celui au charbon ... Chalet très agréable.

Logement très bien équipé, très bien chauffé avec une placede parking attribuée. Le chalet est à 10 minutes à pied et 2 minutes en voiture du centre-ville et du départ des œufs . La navette gratuite passe au bout du chemin, mais seulement le week-end sauf durant les vacances scolaires où elle passe tous les jours. L environnement est calme. Nous étions 4 adultes et c était parfait.

Leuk huisje voor max 4 personen
Cauterets is duidelijk een wintersportdorp. Wij waren er begin september en veel restaurants en winkels waren gesloten. Woning nr. 55 staat aangegeven voor 6 personen, maar biedt voor dat aantal mensen te weinig (woon)comfort en privacy. Slaapgedeelte bevindt zich op de eerste verdieping: stapelbedden in het smalle gangetje, 2 slaapkamers (waarvan een met balkon) en een wc. De badkamer met kleine douchecabine is op de begane grond. Het huisje is compleet ingericht (veel van een bekend Zweeds warenhuis), er is geen waterkoker (we moesten het water maar koken in de magnetron, werd ons verteld) en in de kleine zithoek met kleine tv kunnen 3 volwassenen zitten. In de tuin aan de straatkant staat een grote en stevige picknicktafel met parasol. De tuin is niet afgesloten voor gasten met honden. Het inchecken gaat uitsluitend telefonisch met de uitbater die 250 km verderop woont en contact daarna is alleen via sms. Tip: leg of zet iets op tafel als welkom, al is het maar een informatiemap met noodzakelijke telefoonnummers.

Très beau séjour!
Nous avons passé un très beau séjour dans ce chalet vraiment très bien équipé, idéal pour la famille lorsque l'on vient pour skier, tout est prévu pour laver et faire sécher les vêtements. Il est également bien situé, à proximité du départ des œufs qui mènent aux pistes mais aussi à côté des chemins de randonnées autour de Cauterets. Les propriétaires nous ont bien renseigné par téléphone avant notre arrivée, c'était top. Je recommande cet hébergement!
