Close to town is a bonus
As a VRBO owner myself, with 5 stars, I would expect the hospitality of owners with guest to be much better. They wrote a message to me a day before arrival stating there is no internet, and call them for the check in details. There was not an “I am sorry for your inconvenience.,..” They did try to have a company fix it. And after 4 days without, they had someone drive up a hot spot box. We used our own data for days. When I asked for dish soap the owner said to go buy it. I kindly suggested that since they had not provided the internet for 4 days, it would be kind to get soap for us. Their response was that the internet is free service they offered, not the house rental. What they didn’t understand is that they advertised a place with Internet. The husband is also was very unfriendly upon check in. I had to text, what apartment number, and then again what is the code. He seemed so put off that I asked. He is a rude man without hospitality skills. The apartment is tiny. Only good to comfortably have 3 person. This was also written in another review and it is accurate. A con is the “Ikea like” remodeled and close to town by path.
