Staff were rude. I booked and paid for 1 adult and 3 children but was told that only 1 person is allowed in the pool, went to the front desk to complain and was told to have 3 persons in the pool. Is the facility implying to leave 1 of the kids in the room while the other 2 are in the pool or just have 3 children in the pool without adult supervision? Terrible…This facility should not be allowed to book family rooms.

Another outstanding stay at the Cebu Lex hotel! The food is great, the rooms are clean and comfortable and the staff are second the none. If you are visiting Cebu I highly recomend a stay at this hotel. You won't be disappointed.

No longer my favorite property in Cebu
I have stated at this property many times over the years and sadly have noticed a recent deterioration in the cleanliness maintenance and upkeep. We checked into the room & it smelled like urine housekeeping had to bring in a ionizer machine to try to clean the air. Machine was quite loud and stayed on entire stay. The TV did not work & maintenance had to come up and fix the connection, even after that many of the channels were very fuzzy or unwatchable due to the poor video connection. The rooms are becoming outdated and really look the same as they did 10 years ago when I stayed at this property. One of the air conditioners in the fitness center did not work and half of the equipment did not work properly. I would like to say that the staff at the pool bar is very friendly, especially Albert, the bartender. The restaurant staff and dayshift staff at the front desk are also very friendly. Unfortunately the afternoon front desk clerk attempted to add a 1500 peso per night surcharge to my room simply because my daughter was now 13 years old and not 12 years old or younger. This was despite the fact that I had prepaid the room and on the Hotels.com website, children were stated to be 17 years of age and younger. The front desk supervisor stated that there’s an internal policy at the hotel that anyone over the age of 12 years is considered to be an adult & that I would need to pay an extra person and an extra breakfast fee. Hotels.com had to step & help get the fee waived.

I have stayed at this property many times over the past years. They have made some nice improvements especially to the breakfast area which is now in the new lobby restaurant. Room was clean, staff are friendly and helpful. Paid car from the airport was on time. Driver was great. A couple of notes. Please clean the outside windows so guests can see the view. Fitness center has some equipment that does not work and mildew/ mold aroma. I recommend the upstairs pool bar for the view and service. Hotel has a great location and better price than the Holiday Inn and Radisson Blu.

It was in a safe area. Across the street from a mall, local laundry and 24 hour McDonalds made it super convenient and save us money. Great buffet breakfast Everyone was cordial Would definitely recommend.

My family loved the hotel and breakfast, overall experience is great. I only give this a 4 stars because: I booked this hotel for my family with their kids so they don’t have to pay anything checking in. When Hotel saw my 7yr old niece, they were asked to pay extra. I called Expedia because in the booking they said I only paid 2 adults and I keep telling them I added 2 kids in the booking. Expedia told me that it’s hotel policy they can consider kids as adults, so stupid! I did not see this policy in the website. Something like this, booking should not went through especially I added kids and their age. You should be able to see a pay difference when you add kids in the booking if that’s their policy unless the hotel visually check the kids on site. if they are fat and tall then they have to pay extra. My niece is skinny and tall but that should not matter! I’m disappointed with that policy.
