No TV
Room was comfy no complaints there, but no TV ... we had a young gentleman try to help fix it, but he was new and didn't know how. So no TV... ugh!! We complained in morning and front desk lady didn't know much either. I find out from a couple we are traveling with that they had 2 remotes one for TV And 1 for satellite. Frustrating none of the staff new how to fix it!'

My wife and I stayed one night passing through Cedar Rapids. Older hotel and not very clean in the room. Not sure if floors were vacuumed. Sheets had stains on them and the replacement sheets also appeared to be stained. Probably wouldn’t want to stay more than one night.

The hotel has some issues they may be addressing. TV channel choices were odd and limited, and the hot tub plug did a horrible job keeping the water from draining. I saw and killed multiple ants and a roach. Overall, it was a disappointing stay.

The breakfast left much to be desired. No protein and it took the staff 20 minutes to refill the biscuits and gravy. The orange juice also ran out and was not replaced. The other issue is bugs in the room. Found and killed a small roach on Friday evening. On Saturday morning, I took a hard boiled egg and toast back to my room. As I was getting ready, I saw and killed a roach on the plate I had finished before me shower. Didn’t see any bugs after that.

There was a mouse in our room the first night and staff did nothing and our ac broke the second night didn’t even get an apology. Our door didn’t lock unless we forced it fully closed. Housekeeping let themselves into our room while we were getting ready without knocking and waiting. Our keys stopped working twice. The fruit at breakfast was starting to go bad.

Room keys initially provided did not work. Had to have them redone twice. Once we got to room and it smelled musty. Fridge and TV were not working, and then found a dead bug in the bed linens. Asked for assistance on the TV and fridge and were told a technician would be out ‘tomorrow’. Upon discovery of the bug, I requested a room change, and was eventually granted one, after some back and forth. New room had leftover food still in the fridge. Breakfast offerings were a joke. Room keys again not working the next day, and had to be re-programmed, again. Overall not the best stay, will not be back, given we frequent to this area for various events, we will seek out other options.

It was filthy dark dreary cigarette burnsi on the comforter stains on the floor furniture and walls. Bathroom was dirty and falling apart and mold in the refrigerator!! Do not stay at this place!!!

Could be worse I guess.
The room itself wasn’t terrible at first glance, but after close examination there was a lot wrong with it. There were no USB plugins on any of the outlets, our TV barely worked, most of the remote and TV functions were broken or disabled, the shower curtain had black mold spots, and the shower head was broken and secured with a hair tie. Overall, if I had the time and money to book another hotel, I would have. The room was clean but there was so much that could have been done better.

The breakfast was horrible. Food was ice cold, ran out of waffle mix, ran out of juices and plastic forks. The room did not have any drinking cups in it. The seat on the toilet was so loose it almost fell off and the ice machines were broken.

It was comfortable and enjoyable. However, the property needs quite a bit of upgrading. There were several problems in the breakfast area (juice machine out-of-order, the waffle iron not working correctly, and a bit of a problem with cleanliness of the area.
