Hello. My name is Terania Summers I am staying at the Holiday Inn on Cuming street in Omaha, NE. I have not been able to sleep at all. My very first impression of my stay was when I spotted a mouse run into the building through the open lobby doors. I was on the way to unpack my things from the car so after the mouse checked in I went to my car. Then I noticed a man in all black pacing near the other building. After being watched in the parking lot for several minutes by this unknown man who followed he then followed me in to the lobby. Before I ran to the elevator and onto my floor I alerted the hotel staff. Natalie then promptly called the police and had the man arrested on the spot for his refusal to leave. Shaken up I came back downstairs shortly after where the same young lady at the desk was being verbally berated, having cups thrown at her and aggressively harassed by another unknown man. These men had access to cause disruption and possible harm because the doors do not lock! Which is unsafe for the guests and the staff. A room key should be required to access the inside of the building after dark. Natalie was extremely helpful, kind and patient with all the undue pressure and upheaval. But I was worried (I AM) worried about her since she is the only person who appears to be on staff. I would suggest that for the safety of your staff and guests that the doors should be automatically locked after dark. That may encourage the mice to find other accommodations as well.

Everything’s nice except there’s no free bottled drinking water provided. When I asked, i should be a member of their hotel to be free of drinking water, so I bought mineral water from them.

Online reservation said breakfast included, come to find it is an extra charge, on top of the fee to park in an half empty parking lot. The breakfast is what is really frustrating. Daughter has an appointment at university early in the morning and chose those hotel based on price, proximity to appointment and breakfast included. Just checked in after midnight cause that’s when we were able to get here. Will have to find something to eat quick before appointment in a town we do not know. Inconvenient for sure

The pool was awesome and the front desk clerk was so nice and good at her job. Also the maintenance man helped us out a lot with finding a cart. Your hotel is really nice and kept up well and very comfortable! Will definitely stay here again.

There were a few homeless people walking around the area that asked for change, but other than that the outside was fine. Staff was friendly and down to earth and answered our questions with confidence. Our room was put together nice and neat, the only thing we had to ask for the next morning was for the staff to clean our floors…they were a bit dirty and sticky, but they got it done while we were out and about. Pool was nice, but the water park area the water was very cold. But the rest was nice. The gym area had a few broken things and worn down gym equipment, but still had a decent workout there. Overall was a good stay. I think we would stay here again.

It was convenient and the Waterpark was fun. Burger Therory has great food. Only had packet for 1 coffee but otherwise the room was spacious and clean. The area did seem a little unsafe as we got there was a homeless guy walking in the middle of the street flipping us off and also approached by a begger.
