Safety with Holiday Inn
This I booked after a horrible experience with another hotel that was unkept, and unsafe. I’m familiar with Holiday Inn Express; trust them. They lived up to that trust. I will now only book through the hotels direct; will never use a site like Expedia again.

The room was amazing. It was comfortable, spacious, and clean. The pool was another story. The whole area was overrun with loud, screaming, unattended, obnoxious children. I had to eventually leave the hot tub because unattended children under the age of 10 were using it for water fights and diving practice. My 11-year-old son had no better luck in the pool. It was taken over by roudy older kids, leaving no safe place for anybody. Naturally, there were no hotel employees in sight. One hotel employee should be assigned to do a walk-through of the pool area every 15 minutes to ensure compliance with pool and spa rules. This would greatly add to the comfort, safety, and enjoyment of all pool guests.

The property was very noises. You can hear cars go down the street all night and the people above us were noisy. The pool is not regulated so there were kids trying to climb up the water slide when other kids were trying to go down. There were never any clean pool towels and we did not have warm water for our shower.

Lovely hotel but an Inconsiderate family above me. The walls are very thin and I was up until 2am unable to sleep. They let those kids run around up there as if they were at a playground. I called the front desk three times and for about 5 minutes they became aware of their surroundings. I had to put my AirPods in my ears just to get sleep. Aside from that, the room was spacious and comfortable with lots of amenities. The waterpark inside the hotel looked to be exciting for children. There are two restaurants adjacent to the hotel…the yogurt bar which was decent and the burger theory, which wasn’t good at all. I got two chicken sandwiches for $35 and they were tasteless with broken batter on the chicken. They serve breakfast for a cost but I didn’t indulge. Unfortunately I wouldn’t lodge here again unless I were on the top floor. There’s also not a lot of food places nearby either.

The waterpark is alright. More for the younger children. It was so loud in there. People couldn't seem to follow the no alcohol or food and drinks rule even though staff told them and showed them the signs. People were smoking weed in their room on the 3rd floor during a birthday party. The floors aren't carpeted so you can hear everything that happens above and next to you. Charge 15 a person for breakfast (don't do it there are better options downtown.) Parking is 15 a car per 24 hours. That blows! And parking was very limited. I had to go out and move my truck back into the parking lot after o went to get pizza because there wasnt a parking spot in the lot when I got back. I won't ever stay here again. I suggest you look somewhere else too!

Very noisy. Hard to sleep with all of the noise from the street. Lots of racing outside. Floors weren't cleaned. Beds were so we were ok. Paid parking was ridiculous. Front desk man tried to say we had to pay even if we were parked on the street, not true. Overall, unless you are staying here for a game then i would say skip it.

Booked thinking this would be a great place for our 2yo daughter to have some fun. When you get to the property you are greeted with a parking lot requiring you to pay $50/nt parking. Hoping you don't have to actually pay you go in and to get a code so it's only $15. Room we stayed in was nice but we noticed 3 doors down the hall to our room were broke which didn't make us too comfortable. We didn't end up having any issues and night was quiet except for the family with kids running until 11p above us. Thankfully the running didn't start until 7a and I can't complain much as I have older kids and know how that is. The restaurant was nice, staff was awesome and food was better than expected connected to the hotel. My main issue was with the "waterpark" and the entire reason we booked this hotel vs. any other with an indoor pool in Omaha, NE. When we went in about 7p we found freezing cold water on the playground. Moving to the regular pool wasn't hotter than 70 degrees. We tried the "hot tub" and got in to maybe 78 degrees so at least bearable. After 30 minutes my daughter was shivering so much we just left and gave her a warm bath. Another couple mentioned this was their 4th night and only 1 day was the water warm...the day before they saw inspectors. I mentioned this to staff at checkout & they acted like they'd never heard of "cold water". After I mentioned other reviews and the 3 other couples I overheard complaining they backtracked and just said they'd report it.

Room didn’t have a smoke detector, stains on walls and floors . We stayed for 2 nights , after first night boyfriend woke up with multiple bites in his arm , than 2nd night more . Our room had bed bugs , when we said something to front desk all they told us was maintance would call us the next day. Never received a call . The hot tub was filthy , black stuff floating in the water and the water was cold .As much as you pay for this hotel I would expect the facility to be a lot cleaner , better up keep .
