The staff were helpful. There was a issue at check-in where instead of my room being ready at 3pm I wasn't able to check in until almost 6pm due to overbookings and poor organization. Breakfast was good and the food at the restaurant was delicious. With a little maintainance work I expect this resort to be one of the best in the country. Very relaxing and fun stay.

Upon checking in one of the front desk clerks of East Indian descent were unprofessional and very hoggish. She was very unwelcoming due to the fact after I announced my reason for being there very politely,her demeanor and tone was still off and unbecoming of a person who ā€œsupposedlyā€ is in the CSR field.The rooms especially the living room area with the throw pillows had a high sweaty, musky scent luckily when going to hotels I always walk with my febreeze air refresher and not even that took away the scent, this was very uncomfortable because sitting in the area was super uneasy so we had to resort to the bedroom area more. The bathroom should have a mat or even a towel for after persons comes out of the shower to absorb the water whilst drying off. The internet connection isnā€™t working far less the television in the living room. The breakfast was alright however recommendation for an in house dining area during the rainy season should be implemented because whilst sitting outside where they served breakfast, the chairs apparently absorbed the water and no amount of wiping it off helped to an extent which left persons clothes a bit damp after sitting having breakfast. Also, those black birds were like a bad rash that didnā€™t want to go away cause they kept popping up on the tree above you and flying down to pick at your food.

There was no internet and tv. I got internet on the second day after bothering them. The free breakfast was very limited but the servers were very nice. Good luck getting a taxi yo go visit the town.

Moldy smell in room, only a sheet was offered in the room as ā€œthey donā€™t do blankets anymoreā€, ants in all areas of room and property, numerous cats in various areas of the property including restaurant area and parking area under cabanas, black birds and pigeons were also present during breakfast. Poor and slow service from staff. During breakfast everyone had to share spoons being kept in a cup of water to mix their coffee and tea. The property is not maintained and major upgrades and renovations need to be done.

Basically, its a beautiful property and i love the location i stayed 04/05/24 but it needs small fixing and renovations all around, in the room the following was broken, door, microwave stand, closet door was not moving, bed nightstand light was not working, no kettle for hot water (had in the past), the Ac in the living room was not cooling šŸ˜•. I do hope these are attended too so my next stay can be better. Excellent staff, the chef was very generous.
