Attractions and Hotels Near Chakta-ri

The larger South Gyeongsang region is worth visiting too. South Gyeongsang is marked by coastal plains and forests, as well as common South Gyeongsang sights like the ruins. Common pastimes in this part of South Korea include mountain climbing and hiking.

The nearby localities of Tudomi and Maerak-tong are certainly worth checking out. Tudomi is 40 kilometres to the southeast of Chakta-ri, while Maerak-tong is 40 kilometres to the southeast. Tudomi hotels and apartments are the Pullman Ambassador Changwon and ChangWon Hotel. Maerak-tong choices are the Hotel International and Highfere Hotel.

While you are here, why not spend some time rubbing shoulders and cheering along with South Gyeongsang sports obsessives at a local match? Changwon Civil Stadium is situated to the southeast of Chakta-ri. The Hotel Avenue and the EG Residence are near all the action.

We were on a cycling trip and this was our first stay in a motel. The staff were helpful and explained how things worked. It had everything we needed for a one-night stay including a basic but quite adequate breakfast. There is a good restaurant 100m from the motel. No reason not to stay here if you are passing through.
