Perfect quiet spot in the Nievre
We loved our time at Champallement which is a very pretty village in beautiful countryside. Our host was extremely helpful prior to arrival and the house is just as described in the listing. Comfortable beds, high quality dishwasher and washing machine, a good garden for us and our dogs (though a determined dog could escape quite easily). Kitchen was well equipped but small for more than one person. Very good shower. Fantastic dog walks all around and lakes for swimming just 15 minutes away which was perfect during the very hot weather we had in early September 2023. Plenty of interesting and attractive things to see locally and would definitely come back.

Très jolie maison, dans une tres jolie region. Parfait pour des vacances en famille.
La region est magnifique. La maison est tres bien équipée et le jardin fruitier au frais la journée. Les proprietaires sont tres sympathiques. Nous avons passé un très bon sejour.

Déception sur la maison et l'accueil
- pas de chauffage à l'arrivée (températures du lundi 22 avril :- 1° le matin, 9 ° l'après midi). Inacceptable ! - Installation électrique fantaisiste, déficiente et dangereuse (prises électriques descellées, fils électriques qui pendent dans la pièce de vie) - absence de rampe au bas de l'escalier - propreté qui laisse vraiment à désirer Les seules choses positives sont, l'espace de la pièce de vie, sa luminosité et le joli carrelage au sol, les chambres sont correctes. Je ne comprends pas comment le label Abritel à pu être octroyé, je déconseille aux familles avec des enfants en bas âge de se rendre dans cette maison du fait de l'installation électrique dangereuse.

Sport und Entspannung
Der Aufenthalt war sehr entspannt und ruhig. Die Gastgeber waren freundlich und hilfsbereit, aber kein bisschen aufdringlich, so dass wir wirklich die Zeit für uns hatten. Unsere beiden Hunde haben sich im idyllischen Garten sehr wohl gefühlt, Spaziergänge konnte man direkt vom Haus aus machen. Es war alles so, wie es in der Objektbeschreibung stand. Die Umgebung ist ideal zum Rennradfahren und wandern, wenn man Städte besuchen will, sind diese ab 20 km zu erreichen, so dass man unbedingt auf ein Auto angewiesen ist. Aber wie gesagt, so stand das auch in der Anzeige! Einkaufen geht eben auch nicht direkt in der Nachbarschaft, aber auch das war uns bekannt. Wir fanden die kleinen Städtchen der Umgebung einen Besuch wert und kamen voll auf unsere Kosten.

Ruim huis met grote tuin in klein gehuchtje. Goed bed, en een houtkachel in de lichte woonkamer .Rust, wandelen in de mooie omgeving, fijn verblijf gehad.

Vacances d'été familiales
C'est une région calme et reposante avec le seul bruit du vent et du chant des oiseaux. Nous avons été nous ballader à la butte de Montenoison, au Chateau d'Arthel, à Vézelay, et sur le site de Compierre. Nos idées réalisées mais avec un peu de kilomètres voiture : balade avec un âne, canal du nivernais, canoë et paddle à l'étang de Baye. Nous avons fait de délicieuses tartes et confitures de mûres ramassées près de Champallement. Quel bonheur de retrouver le plaisir de faire la vaisselle à la main avec nos adolescents et de pouvoir jouer ensemble. Cuisine peu équipée et pas de rangement pour les courses. Aucuns commerces à proximité. Literie difficile.

Maison et jardin très agréables pour se couper du monde si l'on en éprouve l'envie. La campagne environnante est belle et les étangs voisins abritent une grande variété d'oiseaux sauvages. Propriétaires disponibles et à l'écoute. Une jolie expérience!

Une maison pleine de cachet dans un environnement superbe
Nous avons passé de très belles vacances dans cette superbe maison à Champallement. Elle est magnifique et a plein de charme. La maison est très bien équipée et nous avons beaucoup apprécié le beau verger avec sa petite mare aux grenouilles et le poêle dans le salon lumineux et spacieux. Il y a 3 chambres à l'étage qui sont facilement accessible. Il y a tout ce dont on a besoin dans cette maison. Les propriétaires sont très gentils et disponibles pour toute demande. On peut faire plein de balade et d'excursions. Deux grands étangs se situent seulement à 10 km avec des plages et des activités aquatiques. Bref, il y a tout pour être heureux ! Et nous l'étions pendant 13 jours !

Gite entre champs et forêts
Sous un soleil éclatant nous avons découverte une région sympathique. Nous nous sommes régulièrement rendus à l'étang de Merle et celui de Baye, pour nous rafraichir. Nous avons faits des magnifiques promenades pédestres et à vélo vers St Révérien, le site gallo-romain de Compierre, le canal Nivernais et Vézelay. La dernier soiree on s'est amusé sur la fête municipale de Saint-Eloi, avec une atmosphère simple et très sympa. La nature est sauvage avec beaucoups d' animaux: renard, hibou, biche, chauve-souris, blaireau, lezard,...... Bref, une région qui vaut la peine d'une visite (9 nuits). La maison forme un pied à terre reposant et suffisamment confortable.

Perfekte Erhohlung in schöner Lage und mit traumhaftem Garten
Wir haben in diesem Ferienhaus einen sehr ruhigen und naturnahen Urlaub verbracht. Wir fanden es wie beschrieben vor und wurden von M. Tissier bestens eingewiesen und mit Informationen versorgt. Die Lage in einem kleinen unaufgeregten Dorf und der wunderschöne große Garten bieten beste Voraussetzungen für eine erholsame Zeit. Die Gegend eignet sich gut für ausgedehnte Spaziergänge und mit dem Auto kann man schöne Badeseen erreichen.
