The yard is spectacular with an impeccably kept garden, fruit trees, shared pool, tennis court, terraces, grilling area and even an access door that steps out the the Ajijic Malecon. If you want to come enjoy and explore Ajijic, this is the place to come and stay, since everything is at your finger tips and most important within walking distance.

The Lake houses is located in the central part of Ajijic village and is just a quick walk to many of the restaurants, shops and services. One of the few properties in Lake Chapala that is central and lakefront. Literary 4 blocks away from the Ajijic plaza. One of Lake Chapala’s premier estates that is lakefront! This former luxury residence now provides accommodations for your special getaway or event. Located on the boardwalk at Lake Chapala, it is within a short walking distance from all major activities and restaurants in central Ajijic. The former main residence has been restored and provides the perfect backdrop for a luxurious experience.

Getting Around:
How can I travel around the area?

Casa Del Lago is located in the central part of Ajijic village and is just a quick walk to many of the restaurants, shops and services. 24 hour taxi service is also available with reasonable local fares. Our Concierge service would be happy to make arrangements for any special tours. Also public transportation is available; it’s safe, efficient and very affordable.

- Yes, we offer free-gated parking for our guests within the property.

Is there WIFI available at Casa Del Lago?
- Yes, we offer free password protected WIFI to all our guests, you can check your email and surf the web from practically most places at Casa del Lago.

NO PETS ARE ALLOWED: Please be advised that pets are not permitted during your stay. However, if your reservation includes a service dog, kindly notify the property management in advance. Great week escape
Had a beautiful relaxing time at this lake house. Check-in was especially easy thanks to their very detailed instructions and videos. Love the calm and laid-back neighborhood. Gardener was great and always willing to go above and beyond With any of my questions. Would love to come back and stay longer . thanks so much!

The outdoor space is the best part
The outdoor space is gorgeous! The listing did not say the two bedrooms were separated and one was not part of the main living space with the kitchen. Unfortunately the weather only allowed for us to enjoy one day at the pool and it was lovely. The bathroom was full of little ants! They were all on the countertops, floor and had a trail between the shower head and ceiling. Towels had spots on them and overall the bathroom did not feel clean. The location is a nice walk from the main shops in Ajijic. Great to have a back entrance to the Malecon which was easier to walk on during the day than the cobblestone streets at night.
