This was an amazing hotel and experience. The staff has incredible hospitality toward their guests in every department. They go out of their way to help without you having to ask. Top notch! I love in Tokyo where we have the BeST service and I can compare The Charleston Place with that level of service. Truly made our experience enjoyable and made to feel like home. Thank you! We will definitely be back.

Everything was great except no hair dryer & the wand was missing on one half of drapes & pulled away from wall causing a “crack of light” at top & down a ways-something regular housekeeping would not have noticed. I reported at desk when checking out & was thanked sincerely for letting them know. Sink was sluggish & forgot to mention. Hot water & volume in shower superior. In general, very good accommodations in every way!

The kids and myself went for the weekend. We enjoyed A Christmas Carol at Dock Street Theatre, shopping, dining and sight seeing. Charleston Place is wonderful.

Charleston trip
Rooms are dark and could use some updating. I was awoken very early my first morning by the alarm clock in the room next to mine. I had to call the front desk to get it turned off. Not sure if housekeeping should be clearing alarms when they turnover the room. Long travel day and early wake up call made my first day a little exhausting. Hotel was beautifully decorated for the holidays. Couldn’t find a vending machine with drinks anywhere which would have been appreciated.

Have stayed many times over the years. This was the first time that we could hear people talking constantly in the room next to us. It was annoying. Also, we were on the 2nd floor level and there was no ice machine, we had to go to the 4th floor, and it didn't have ice.

Called front desk and concierge for 15 minutes with no answer. (It IS a busy Friday night in December). However, one would think $1500/night would come with better service! Had to call dining services who, after 5-10 minutes, was able to get me a wifi password. Other that that, the stay has been great so far.

Loved every second of our stay. Our Thanksgiving buffet was sublime. We stayed on the Club floor and it was worth the price. The Christmas decorations were some of the most beautiful I have seen. Staff was excellent. Can’t wait to return.
