Front desk not friendly, property old and very poorly maintained, room with mold smell, very weird guests, my kids woke up in the middle of the night to the sound of a fight (screams and punches). We have been to other La Quinta hotels that were impecable. This one was a disappointment.

First of all, wasn’t able to check in until I paid the full nights rate, even though I paid it through Expedia, and could show it on Expedia app, confirmation email and credit card statement. Paid an extra $20 for a ‘deluxe room’ (told after that meant it had a microwave). No microwave in the room. Room was not clean, used q-tips on the floor under desk, visible dirt on room walls. Bathroom door has literally been chewed apart. Only 2 towels -no hand towels or face cloths- and sign at front desk said they had ‘no more, nor did they have pillows or blankets so don’t even bother asking’ hallway to room had flooded area we had to wade through, deep enough to go over shoes and soak feet. No waste basket in room. Room door doesn’t close and if you do get it to close, a shoulder into it sends it flying wide open again. Website lists free onsite parking. Sign in lot says it’s $16/night. Will NEVER stay at a La Quinta again.

Not enough towels for guests. You had to bring what you had back for them to wash if you wanted fresh towels. I went to make my bed and noticed dried blood on my comforter. Not cool!!!! Don’t think I will be coming back to this chain of hotels.

I had to change rooms 4 times. 1st roaches was in the room. We moved. 2nd no internet and heater went out, no tv watching. We moved again. 3rd Roaches and no internet, we moved again. 4th no heat, we were tired of moving so we stayed. I will never stay here again.

The area is great with a restaurant in walking distance. Someof the staff could've been more pleasant. The door lock was messed up and would have insert the key 5 times to get the door to open. The room was nice and clean except for band aids stuck to the curtains for some reason. Would stay again.

The door should work, right?
Even for a cheap one-night stay, this was awful. The elevator was broken so I had to walk up three flights. My door barely opened the first time, and the second time, late at night, not at all. The handle was broken and I could not open my door. I had to walk all the way to the front desk where the person opened my door and offered no apology or explanation. The lamps and all the metal fixtures were rusted out inside. And there was no soap or shampoo in the bathroom so I couldn't even take a shower.

After we checked in, the front desk employees didn’t even look up from whatever they were doing to greet/acknowledge us. The carpet in the room was dirty. The bathroom sink didn’t have any kind of plug. The bath tub was full of paint that was probably used to paint the room. The breakfast was the same every morning and there was no information given that it wouldn’t be available Christmas morning. The on site washer worked but not the dryer and you had to download an app to even use them! The ice machine on the 2nd floor was out of service and filthy. The mattress in our room was horrendous-felt like we were laying in the hull of a canoe-it was so sagged on each side from where people have laid, you couldn’t even lay on your side as the edges of the bed were up so much higher than where we laid. It definitely needs a new mattress in that room! I have arthritis in my hips and they were killing me by the time we left from that mattress being way over used and needing replacement. The cleaning person left her cart in the hallway all day/night. We probably wouldn’t recommend staying here. The restaurant next door-California Dreaming was the best part about this site.
