Property looks just like the photos and there are a lot of activities for all ages throughout the basement and outside. We were warned an hour prior to check in that it was lady bug season. Wished we knew at booking due to the significant amount of ladybugs within the Home. Owner was made aware and dropped off a broom and vacuum. As a guest on vacation I did not want to spend over an hour cleaning the lady bugs after paying a significant cleaning fee, but did. Outside of the ladybug being literally everywhere, it was a nice house and stay.

Wonderful Cabin!
We enjoyed the cabin so much, and the canoe with the dock was also a wonderful addition that added a lot of fun to our trip! The cabin is well stocked and the kitchen is very well suited to make meals there, which we ate in every night. The two outdoor fire places were a bonus and we thoroughly enjoyed the chiminea to make s’mores every night with the great weather we had! No bugs, a plus when sitting outside on the deck and drinking our coffee. Thankyou for sharing such a gem! Our dog enjoyed the land to get in a little exercise as well! We would love to come back sometime again if we are planning another trip near Cleveland/Chattanooga area!

Beautiful, peaceful place!! Canoe, kayaks, firepits, game room, comfy beds! NOTE, lots of steps, so wouldn't recommend for those that have trouble walking.

Peaceful place to get away. The cabin provided kayaks and everything we needed for our vacation. Instacart will deliver groceries to this address for an extra fee. We didn't have to leave unless we wanted to.

Just what we needed
My family and I had a blast here! We came from Houston to visit with family I have in Cleveland, and this was the perfect spot to hang out. I got to see my kids create memories canoeing in the river, catching fireflies, making s'mores, and fishing with their dad. The property had everything we needed. My family really enjoyed the week we spent here. There were lots of wasp nests in the outdoor loft up top, so our kiddos didn't get to experience that novelty, but that wasn't a big deal. We highly recommend this place if you're wanting to feel secluded and still have nearby conveniences.

Amazing !!!
So so great !! Way better than expected ! Beds so comfy ! I took a nap every day also and I can’t usually take naps !! The host replied back so quick every single time which made it so refreshing !!! We loved loved loved it !!!! Best trip ever ! Plenty of room to be separate from kids also😂😂

This rental was amazing. Canoes, kayaks, beautiful views, etc. The place went beyond my expectations. So many things to do at the property. We would love to come back again sometime when we can truly enjoy all that the property offers.

Stayed here for a wedding in Cleveland. The property was wonderful! Plenty of seating areas - deck, outdoor fireplace, fire ring down by the dock. We kayaked before the wedding and enjoyed our time catching up and playing guitar on the deck. It was clean, very comfortable, convenient for any quick errands, or grab a meal, the general s enjoyed the pool table. Versatile - whether a romantic weekend or a family gathering. It’s a great getaway no matter your plans!

Nice quaint hideaway
Located in a very quiet neighborhood right on the shores of the Hiwassee river this property has all you need for a quiet getaway. Neighborhood is suitable for walking although I wouldn't stray too far from the main street as the entry into the neighborhood is a very narrow and windy road. Kayaks and canoes are available for river exploration although we did not use them (too many other activities). The game room downstairs is very nice and we took advantage of that. Upstairs deck is nice for relaxation. Kitchen is adequate for what you might need for cooking and you can always use the Green Egg on the outside patio. The outdoor stone fireplace is pretty awesome and I would definitely recommend at least one night using that! One thing to be aware of is that this is a wooded property...there will be bugs and you might have to clean off outdoor furniture during the week. That's not a big deal for us and I would expect that with a property in an outdoor environment like this (but I know some people will want to know that). Nina was a great host and very communicative...responded quickly to any questions. There were no issues at either check-in or check-out.
