Pointes North Inn is one of Charlevoix's unique condominium suites that book like a hotel room. Book for the condo's privacy, stay for the hospitality. This gorgeous condo has a king-size bed with a queen-size sleeper sofa in the living room. There are granite countertops in the kitchen, one housing the stainless steel sink and the table with seating for three. There is a full stove, microwave, coffee maker, toaster and an average-sized refrigerator which makes it more unique from our other one-bedroom units. A two-person jetted tub is located in the bathroom along with the separate walk-in shower and the granite countered vanity. Cable television is in the living room and bedroom. The queen-sized sleeper sofa is in the living room along with a separate chair. Off the living room is the walk-out screened in patio with seating for two.
Pointes North Inn has high-speed Wi-Fi throughout the building and coin-operated laundry on the second floor. The lobby area has seating which overlooks the heated indoor/outdoor pool. The inside section of the pool is open year-round, while the outside section is closed off October to May. All this, just a stone's throw from downtown Charlevoix the beautiful.

We were looking for a location for a one night stay to break up a trip to the Keweenaw Peninsula. This site was a perfect choice. We utilized the full kitchen, saw a beautiful sunset and slept very well in the king size bed. Early spring is a great time to visit this very popular beach town.

Feels more like a hotel than a condo
Very clean condo, comfy bedroom. Kitchenette was fine for one night. Loved the convenience to shops, restaurants. As opposed to other VRBOs where you communicate with the owner, this was more ‘corporate’. I called with a question about access to the building/condo. Front desk lady was curt in answering my questions, made me feel like I was inconveniencing her. We brought our dog so papers to sign and initial upon check-in…I know they have to protect themselves but it does make one feel like it’s better to stay at a privately owned cottage where you don’t have to sign/agree several line items.

The room need maintenance, carpeting very dirty. No management after 10pm. made it hard when the guest were very loud after 12am. Know one to take care of noise problem. No internet at property.

Geographic is great, but . . .
The physical location of this place is great. It's walkable to downtown & very close to the lake/channel. However, contrary to the photos, this condo is quite tired. The furniture is old, worn & scratched. The kitchen is extremely dark: there is just one small light, & it is located over the stove. There were cigarette butts in ash trays on the screened porch. At least two light bulbs were burned out in the living room overhead light. There were a couple of dead bugs in the globe covering the overhead light in the toilet room. I would stay in this neighborhood again but not at this complex.
