I flew with American Airlines, because of a national computer issue did not get in until after 02.30, and was unable to get transportation to the hotel, when you try and call the number only gives options to book a room, so cannot inform the hotel of your situation. I booked the hotel in good faith, now I find out that it is just another scam, I intend to publish this on the network. It’s easy to understand why you have this policy. You can respond !!!!!!

This review has nothing to do with the property. When my daughter flew in to Charlotte and took an Uber to the property she was told that due to the global Microsoft outage they could not be checked in. This was at 2 am. They had to secure a different hotel in which to spend the night. This hotel had one person working the desk and driving the shuttle. Obviously there was no shuttle. There was no help from the one person working to try and find alternate accommodations. Just basically good luck. Fortunately they did find another hotel that could take them at 4 am. My problem is that due to outage beyond their control I have paid for a hotel room that was never used and could not have been used. So I am out $140 for a room that they tried to check in and was told they could not. I am also out $220 for the alternate hotel room they had to find on their own. I am very unhappy with Expedia due to their being no refund for a paid room that was unoccupied due to something beyond our control. Will NEVER use Expedia for any bookings in the future and will make sure everyone I know hears this and hopefully they will never use your site for any bookings in the future.

Hotel felt gross. Stains all over the carpet, bed linens were old and worn. Blood spots on bathroom wall. Just overall felt gross. Lots of people sitting on the sidewalk when we arrived late at night. Just did not feel like a safe area.

Had to book an unexpected night’s accommodation due to a flight cancellation. This hotel was very reasonably priced and close to the airport. For some reason I had problems dialling the number for the hotel to call the free transfer so we had to get a taxi. On arrival and after a quick check-in, we were directed to our room which was spacious, clean and comfortable. We had a lovely meal at the Lagz African restaurant and bar next door. There were a few other fast food outlets and eateries in a walkable distance, as well as a few stores.Enjoyed an evening swim in the hotel pool, which was warm and clean. The breakfast was a little disappointing, little choice and virtually nothing if you had any intolerance’s. The transfer bus had been booked the evening before and was ready and waiting for us right on time. Good, helpful, friendly driver and a very quick transfer back to the airport. Would thoroughly recommend this hotel as a stopover before or after a flight. There was plenty of parking if you had a car. Thanks to the welcoming and helpful staff.
