Looked clean, but pretty sure the roombhad bed bugs or something that bit me and my wife. We told desk front desk at checkout though they were not too concerned. The breakfast attendants was very nice and the hm came by to say hi to our “cute” daughter which was nice.

Unfriendly and unhelpful front desk in evening. Couldn't recommend where I could go for dinner or how to get to town. Not Doubletree level. First room given on busy hall corner with building floodlight at window. Manager was irritated because I asked to be moved as I prerequested quiet. 2nd room was quiet but was adjoining room with light on underneath door all night. Bed was very uncomfortable and sunken on right side. It was Labor Day so glad they were working but PM manager could be more service oriented. Other person nice but unable to assist as new to hotel and area.

Checked in to the room that was not cleaned- wet towels on the floor bathroom not cleaned. Second room smelled like smoke despite asking for non smoking. Overall it was an okay stay, bed was comfortable, staff was accommodating and the shuttle service to the airport was convenient.

The hotel is great their breakfast is terrible. No service at al, the waitress had to be chased around to get silverware, didn’t offer coffee or anything; the breakfast buffet is what other hotels often include in the price of stay.

This was a fine experience other than the Hotel Van situation. Room was great and beds excellent. Unfortunately, van took 45 minutes to pick us up despite being advertised as coming around every 30 minutes. Driver clearly didn't leave when front desk said she left after I called. Blamed traffic but other hotel vans were coming by twice before DoubleTree van arrived. When van arrived, two folks couldn't lift into van and had to be left behind. Hotel is recommended highly if driving, but if flying into Charlotte, I suggest another hotel.
