Come and enjoy the peace and quiet of lake living at 'Saunderosa' this beautiful three level home; over 3800 Square Feet, which is fully furnished/equipped and surrounded by large shade trees with private water frontage with a brand new 42 ft dock, brand new deck off living area, and patio areas that offer both sun & shade. It has all the entertainment you will need both inside and out.With the 3 level floor plan easily accomodates multiple families. It is located in a private cul-de-sac, inside an airpark community with a private strip making this area very eclectic and charming.A Great House to come and enjoy the lake, time away with your family and friends.......Come Make those Special Memories........

The main level has an open airy feel. The fully equipped kitchen is ready and waiting to prepare any meal you would like. The dining room has a very large table enough to accommodate 8 people with exquisite view of lake, along with the kitchen bar that has 3 additional stools, this flows into the living area that has a vaulted ceiling and stone fireplace, which burns real wood, and a 55' flat screen TV with a blueray player for your favorite movies. Lots of dvd's there or bring your favorites! This room also has two large patio doors that open onto a raised deck overlooking the bottom deck and hot tub area. Both decks have the same gorgeous view of lake. Also on side yard lots of grass you can enjoy, crochet, horseshoes, badmitton....bring your bikes lots of great trails nearby in State Park or bike in neighborhood. There is a basketball hoop and room to have a game with friends and family.

The upper level of house is where the luxurious master suite is which offers another wood fireplace. A 46 inch flat screen tv above fireplace mantel. The master bath has a garden tub and a standing shower with seperate dressing area and double vanity sinks with granite counters. Then there is a loft which is the perfect place for peace and quiet to get work done or enjoy a book.

Then enjoy our nostalgic lower level GAME ROOM complete with a full bar, pool table, poker table & chips, dart board and brand new pacman cocktail table & golf video game. We have a table set up for those who love puzzles and card games. Something for EVERYONE! This level also has a bedroom with beautiful lake view and full bath. And just in case you are having to much fun and feel guilty, there is a workout room. The bottom level then opens out onto a brand new sun deck , all new patio furniture to relax, hang out, view the lake or read that favorite book,. There's a new grill area and fantastic hot tub overlooking the lake.

Bring your own boat or jet skis, there is boat launching nearby. We have DEEP WATER year round so no worries on a dry cove. Or you can rent a boat by the day or week; Lake Norman Marine & others specialize in pontoon or jet ski rentals. Local rental companies will deliver to our dock. Perfect for those who want to wake up and jump on their boat for a day of fun on Lake Norman. The dock area also has the perfect little lakeside screened in gazebo where you can play games and enjoy your favorite 'beverage'. If you dont want to boat, you can always fish, swim or float in this cozy and safe cove, or even rent a kayak. We're told the fishing is fantastic right off dock! We also have paddleboat, 2 kayaks and 1 paddleboard for your enjoyment.

So we invite you and your family to enjoy and create wonderful memories here where you have everything you need. We provide premium /luxury bed linens, down comforters with duvets on top of brand new Foster Stearns Mattresses, towels for 8/10 people. Your comfy beds are made up and waiting for you to arrive and enjoy. We supply your initial start up of papergoods, toilet paper, soaps, and papertowels. Also if you don't have time or want to deal with grocery shopping, email me a prepared list of what you would like to have stocked and I will have it there waiting for you for an extra fee. A view of fresh air!
A group of us/friends stayed there as a type of reunion. We had a great time- enjoyed the beautiful views repeatedly as well as walks through the neighborhood. The kitchen was well-stocked and we made several meals. The beds were comfortable and cozy. Our host was attentive and gracious. We had a lovely coat and hope to return.

Impressive house - pics dont do it justice
Fantastic house. Areas have been updated since the pictures were taken. For example the TV next to the bar has been replaced to a flat screen. Games were fun in the basement, ladies loved the hot tub, great seasoned wood for the fireplace for the could cold days. Dock was great, my only suggestion is can you heat the lake water so the fish will bite regularly? LOL. Just kidding, everything was perfect with this house. Thanks so much!

Relaxing Stay at Lake Norman
The hosts (in particular, Toni) were easy to reach and responsive to all questions. The property was amazing and well-stocked with pretty much anything that anyone could want. The outdoor space, with all of the various decks, were really nice to have as well - lots of options. The furniture, especially the couches on the first floor and bed in the MBR, were super comfortable. Clearly, the owners take a lot of pride in ensuring that all tenants have a great stay. They ensured that there were extra dishes, silverware, pots, pans, etc, so you never had to waste time cleaning dishes until you were ready to depart. The game room was also really nice with all of the things there to keep someone busy, especially if the weather was too cold or rainy. I personally enjoyed the video game arcade - brought me back to the 70s for a little while. One comment about the area - Cawtawba, where the house is located, is in a pretty rural area, so be prepared to drive 30 minutes or so if you need to go grocery shopping or go to a good restaurant (which are numerous in nearby Mooresville). That said, it's peaceful and quiet in that location, other than the occasional small airplane that might be driving down the road to go to their homeowners local hangar (kind of fun, in its own way). Overall, just a very nice time in a very accommodating and well-appointed home. Thanks!

This is our 3rd time at Saunderosa. Two families with older teenagers celebrating a fall birthday. We canā€™t say enough good things about this gem. We love spending time here in the fall. The lake is quiet and the neighborhood is lovely. We start planning our next visit the minute we get home.

Fantastic
We had such a fun week at this lake house. Our group ranged in age from 12 to 95 and Saunderosa offered something for everyone. The house is situated in a quiet cove, perfect for swimming, kayaking and paddle boarding. The game room was a bonus during rainy periods and we appreciated the many games available. Everyone thought the beds were really comfy, the kitchen was completely stocked, and the variety of deck chairs and tables gave everyone plenty of space to be outside in sun or shade. The house is obviously well maintained and was immaculately clean. I can't say enough good things about this home--one of our favorite vacation spots ever.

Best House (home) ever!
We were constantly surprised and amazed at all this house had to offer! We are cooks and had everything we could have asked for the beautifully equipped kitchen. The house itself was comfortably furnished and nicely decorated. There was no shortage of books, games for indoors and out, and water toys. The decks outside were also furnished nicely for dining or just hanging out. The outside space provided both sun and shade options. Everything inside and out was spotless. We highly recommend this beautiful property. Shopping and dining options were also convenient.

Perfection on Lake Norman
This beautiful property has absolutely everything you need for a comfortable stay. The pictures do not do it justice. It was very clean with clear instructions on how everything works and what is included in your stay. Communication was great and all of the information in the notebook was helpful. 25th Wedding Anniversary Celebration
The property, the host, the location; everything and everyone was spectacular!! I could've written this review a week before my stay because Toni is just that amazing of a host. And the property, oh my word, absolutely beautiful, extremely peaceful and serene. My husband and I fell in love with the property and each other all over again at the property. We did not want to leave. We will be repeat visitors. Saundersoa is an exceptional place to vacation. Toni is the epitome of what a host should be, I love her; so amazing! For anyone wondering if this is the place . . . it is, go ahead . . . book it. You won't regret it.

Amazing and so appreciative for our stay. Except for a bit of a trip to the grocery store, (a small price to pay for serenity), there is no reason for you to leave this property. Tranquil, exciting and overall an amazing time. Literally something to do for everyone from age 1-100.

The property is prettier than the pictures look. The location was a little far out there but fine if you are okay with cooking. The fishing was great and the lake was calm. The hot tub needs to get hotter faster. Otherwise a great relaxing weekend
